Eventough in the same issue Mxy says :
"Our science is so sophisticated it looks like magic to you three-dimensional rubes !"
It should also be noted that it's said that Mxy actually reads the comic he appeared in.

Yes, he did he was taking on all of Alpha Flight and even summoned a undead Wendigo army. It was even said he was the physically the strongest Wendigo and could grow stronger by eating flesh.
Normal Wendigo with no augmentations has taken it to Sasquatch/Hulk, Hulk/Captain Mar-Vel (w/Rick Jones), She Hulk/Wolverine, Hulk/Wolverine, etc. Just normal Wendigo is low hearld, so why would the supreme version be at the same level of his inferiors?

Banner-Hulk was owning Wendigo,he had to be convinced by Sas to join forces.
Well,he wasnt owning him,but he had an obvious advantage.

Owning? He took every blow from the Hulk and was even causing him to slip back into Savage Hulk mentality. Wendigo literally was none the worse for wear from the Hulk's blows
EDIT: Well you edited your post, and he definetly was doing fine but both were far from close to ending it anytime soon. Who knows how long it would have went on

The same can be said for Hulk,Wendigo only got a hit in when Banner-Hulk felt fear and hesitated.
Banner-Hulk was actually enjoying the fight,but I guess all things considered neither looked worse than the other.

But he has never actually beat the hulk and yeah he was fighting Hulk/Sasqautch and Hulk/Genis but hulk fights the fantastic four or the avengers or the X-men at the sametime on lots of occassions.

Definetly I'm not saying Wendigo had the advantage, but was still a rather impressive showing for the two to go blow for blow with each other and neither were really effected.

And Hulk does not have a victory over the Wendigo alone. Errr? It's a example of why Wendigo is where he is in the tiers as generally it takes more people to take Wendigo down. High level people. Wendigo has taken on teams as well *shrugs*
