Just curious, have you taught high school science for 15 years? This guy has. Besides, can you be more specific about your accusations against him. This seems to be your deal when faced with facts. and how many MORE people than this guy and his contempraries have taught in schools and higher institute for over 15 years and disagree with him, seeing as we are giving people credibility solely on how long they have taught? also, geology is an INCREDIBLY complex field which is OFTEN counterintuitive. this person is boiling the whole formation of a great and complex geological formation into sumthing a kid could easily think up. so great, the river isnt as high as the grand canyon, OBVIOUSLY it cudnt have carved it{since laymen logic works soooooo well in geology anyway} oh no wait, the REAL explanation is the great FLOOD, which deposited clean layers, and was a global event, with no reason NO evidence and no explanation. ahah, oh no wait, if it was a global event then why does the grand canyon continue in both directions for a very very long way, why did only THIS specific area had to form the formation. hmmmm???? oh yeah those damn fossils, ill lie that carbon dating etc is never used, and then forget the fact that layers have unique fossil FINGERPRINTS where chronologically, fossils exist in certain specific layers and not in others and form a very chronologically fitting pattern, yet how can that be if all animals lived with each other and humans at the same time and were randomly distrbuted uniformly{as they shud} in all the layers, i mean really, why is it that we dont find tyrrynosars in the same layers as we find mammoth fossils???????
oph no wait, ive already proven myself an idiot by avoiding the fact that MOST rivers are below the PEAKS of MOUNTINS in the NOW, which is perhaps billions of years of change after their formation. and yet they have a direct impact on the erosion of the mountains ranges that they flow through. as for the grand canyon, the river need have only entered in already formed crack lines underground to carve out the entire canyon later. also, WHO proposed that the river carved the red cannyon from TOP TO BOTTOM???????? its was a simple layman;s explanation given in a CHILDRENS' book! the VERY top probably exists from a time so long past that when it was at ground level, events of completely different kinds were shaping the landscape.
