Just saying that wrestling is fake doesn't nearly cover it.
The results are fake. But the sport is as physically demanding as it gets, and Hogan was around for decades for a reason.
I'm not totally convinced this would be a curbstomp. Hogan's pain tolerance has to be utterly psychotic, and in his prime he was in as good of shape as anyone, even if his punching power wasn't what Tyson's is. If Hogan's smart enough to actually wrestle, and not make it a brawl where his face get pounded in, I say it's a good fight.
This thread is kinda stupid. It's almost impossible to tell what Hogan's actual fighting style is like. I'm a pro wrestling fan and trust me you need some good stamina and pain tolerance to be a pro wrestler. In strength when Hogan was in his prime the winner is obviously Hogan but thing is since we've never seen how he actually fights there's no way to say whod win
Originally posted by Healing ArtisanRead above comment. Not the one about Tyson not being best boxer, the other one. Oh and how the hell do you know if Hogan's never been hit.
as Chuck Liddell said to Kurt Angle, i'll say the same thing for Hogan"He's never been hit...he's never been hit"
what is Hogan going to do to Tyson? regardless of Tyson being the best boxer or not, what's Hogan going to do to any pro boxer or pro mixed martial artist?
Originally posted by Violent2Dopehe has no fighting style, because he doesn't continually fight, and i haven't seen a fight record.

pain tolerance? stamina? Tyson has both.
Strenght has NOTHING to do with being a fighter. Let's look at real fighters who have incredible strenght but have difficulty winning fights.
Tank Abbott (the guy can bench press 600lbs), Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman, Mark Kerr.
Originally posted by Healing ArtisanWhat I meant was no one knows how Hogan really fights so it's impossible to know exactly how the fight would go. By the way just so I can get this out, Butterbean is not a boxer, rather is a giant fat man who swings his short, stubby arms at people much smaller than him.

Butterbean not a boxer???
Butterbean at this point in his career is a REAL mixed martial artists. his boxing record is 77-7.
his kickboxing record is 2-3
and his mixed martial arts record is 10-3 (with 6 submission wins)
as for the fighting smaller opponents
here are his past opponents in MMA, and he's defeated all of them
James "The Colossus" Thompson= 6 foot 5 with a great mixed martial arts background
Aaron Aguilera= 6 foot 6
Wesley "Cabbage" Correira= 6 foot 3 with a great background in mixed martial arts
Sean O'Haire= 6 foot 6 (i think you know him from pro wrestling)
Charles Hodges= 6 foot 4
Zuluzino= Vale Tudo Superheavyweight fighter. lost to Butterbean by a submission keylock. Zulu is much taller and heavier than Butterbean
