Math is not science. Math is Math. Chemistry, Biology, and Physics are life sciences. Stuff like Sociology, Psychology, Political Science are social sciences. Neither is more 'real' than the other.
Maths is classed as a science by universities. Universities that ask for sciences before entry accept Maths as one, plus high level maths, isn't simply numbers.

Like Pitt posted, science is "systemized knowledge derived through experimentation, observation, and study. Also, the methodology used to acquire this knowledge." That is not limited to the one's you posted. No one science in inherently better than another. Get off your high horse.
Social sciences are not what I'd class as science, they are below science subjects.Maths is classed as a science by universities. Universities that ask for sciences before entry accept Maths as one, plus high level maths, isn't simply numbers.

Eh, I have things going on in my life, and I feel like jumping on the bandwagon.Starting yesterday, this is the busiest weekend of my life, I think. I'm currently in two productions, one with Hillel (the Jewish center, for foreigners), and a production with my Acting class. Luckily, none of the performances conflict. But still. I'm going to die.
Wish me luck!

And social sciences do indeed require systematized knowledge, just because you don't know it doesn't mean it isn't true. And you can't claim that something isn't a science, that's not up to you to decide.
Life sciences and social sciences and all other kinds of sciences study completely different things. It's like comparing apples and oranges. It's pointless and trying to claim that one is better than another is entirely a matter of opinion.
Now lets get back to the topic of the thread.
