OT Vader & ROTJ Luke vs. ROTS Sidious

Yes, Sidious does win, but it isn't easy. Unless the fight gets screwed by bad decisions by Lucas, and Sidious stabs Luke right away and then kills Vader in 7 seconds... puke

i always wondered what would happen if luke DID join vader in TESB, like after they killed sidious i wonder if luke would have killed his father as well

This is actually a tough fight. RotJ Luke and Vader are great, but RotS Sidious is as well. Though, If Sidious did not practice with his blade in those 20+ yrs, the only way he could win is with the Force.

It is, I'm referring to what Darthsith posted.

Sidious, he would only have improved from RotS onwards, and OT vader and Luke just flat out suck.

I don't know, it would be a good match, Vader doesn't suck, he is very good and Luke isn't extremely bad, Yoda and Obi wouldn't have send him to fight Vader and confront the Emperor, if he was so bad.

This isn't ROTJ Sidious, its ROTS Sidious. In which case Sidious wins with a definitive victory over the father son team. Luke is a weakling compared to ROTS Sid's and Vader isn't going to be able to defend against Sid's Force lighting for very long, and we all know how Vader fares with being hit by Force lightning. I think Sidious downs Luke in less then 20 seconds a la Kit Fisto then toys with Vader until he decides to kill him.

Ahh yes I missed that. Sidious still takes it. Luke still dies a la Kit Fisto and then Sidious has a decently difficult battle with Vader, but he still wins.

I can certainly see Luke and Vader taking this since it's ROTS Sidious. Now, against ROTJ Sidious I think they would lose, but they should have a fair chance here. Vader alone should be able to almost match him in liightsaber combat. With a DS Luke, who is just reakin in raw power, Sidious will probably overwhelmed. That's unless Sidious manages to defeat one of them, probably Luke, with the Force before engaging in a saber fight.
