At what point in time can you picture Tommy Lee Jones flying around on a glider...? Dafoe was without a doubt a better Norman Osborn than Tommy Lee Jones could ever be.
Batshit crazy Green Goblin Osborn though, Dafoe did a pretty good job on that. He was just leakin' craziness on that.

I think Ali Larter would be a great Ms. Marvel
I like that idea.
Hugh Laurie as Lucifer Morningstar.
- I know Lucifer was modeled after David Bowie, but Hugh is also English, can play the role in different accents, and is also a great piano player. Has a talent for a sharp tongue too, just like Lucifer.
Rob Lowe - Superman!
Everyone that knows me knows I'm not a Supefan but some of my best friends are and I collect ahellova lot of his comics and seen all the movies. Not to disrespect Christopher Reeve's performance but I got to thinking about it and if it had been done a few years before Returns say about 2000, Lowe would have been perfect and a good age for the part!
I mean I watched the movie youngblood on tv the other day and all I could think was damn, he's basically playing Smallville Clark Kent with a love for hockey (minus the powers and alien heritage) there. Its uncanny to me how much he resembles Supe and on The West Wing he came very close to playing what I imagine Clark Kent is at the Daily Planet! I mean I wish I could have seen a movie where he'd taken on the character with a script to actually make the character have a real compelling story with a significant threat to the character and a Luthor like Rosenbum's
Sound interesting, am I alone, am I completely off my rocker?
Any comments?

I would have agreed with you ten years ago, but Rob is too old for the part presently. What is he now 47 or 48 yrs old? I do agree with you that he makes it into the top 5 actors ever, that could play the role at a younger age though. Good choice.

He could do the Iron Patriot Norman Osborn thing I think. I could certainly picture him changing faces to suck up to the public one second, threatening his crew of villain Avenger minions the next, then playing the role of Bob's sympathetic friend. Also, Dark Reign Osborn was totally based on Tommy Lee Jones.Batshit crazy Green Goblin Osborn though, Dafoe did a pretty good job on that. He was just leakin' craziness on that.
You saw it too huh? Good eye brutha!
