Okay, someone set me straight. I dislike being in the middle and I'm not usually wishy-washy, but I see both sides to this. I'm not going to write one story with Kate and another with Surreal and I have high hopes for this fic overall. So I will continue my own work until you guys PM me what you want to have happen.
Kate: I'm sorry I haven't PMed you lately. Been busy still. I like the creative outlet, the twists you provide. All that is good. I think an easy way to compromise is to just PM all the other participants and let them know what you're going to do, not for approval, but just so we can prepare for it. You like to set up these elaborate twists, which is great, but when I don't know what to do with them, there is a huge lull in the writing process.
Surreal: We all have different ways of writing and it's even harder working with a team, and even harder when you can't actually talk to your teammates. I suggest someone create an outline of where this story is going to go and we divide it up as we have always done. We can make sense of a lot of things here, and while some of it may be edited out, that doesn't mean the skeleton of it has to disappear.
So someone else post, send me an outline, and I'll jump right back in. I'm too confused to begin right now.

Willo, i understand what you're saying, but i'm afraid i don't have a massive idea about what's going on.... lol... just sort of an idea that they are trying to defeat beckett, we're taking all the love issues to a close at some point, etc. i know you are crazy busy right now, and i am pretty swamped as well, so i dont know if Surreal wants to mess around with that or what. It's up to you guys. I didn't want to hijack the story or anything, so perhaps you guys want to swing it back to the direction you were taking.
(A continuation of one of Kate's 'vignettes' that she's written)
CUT TO Elizabeth and Calypso.
(Calypso grins wickedly and begins to hover directly above Elizabeth.)
Calypso: I have to say, dis give me much pleasure, Lizabet
Elizabeth: You've taken everything I had from me. There's nothing you can say that I won't do.
Calypso: Better reconsider dat.
(Elizabeth's eyes dart from side to side. A variety of things come to her mind)
Elizabeth: Say what you want and then leave me be.
Calypso: You know what I want. I want my Davy.
Elizabeth: (breaks her heart all over again to say it) He's as dead as my love. Name another price.
Calypso: It was you, your husband, and your friends what stopped my plan from taking shape. I could kill you now with one wave and no one would ever find you. But I have use for you, use for revenge.
Elizabeth: You're taking up my time, goddess.
Calypso: Bring me da ring Lord Beckett now has. I have use for it.
Elizabeth: Ring?
Calypso: Since you go to find him now, dat's all you need to know.
Elizabeth: What's so important about a ring?
Calypso: You aren't meant to know. You will bring it to me, Lizabet. You will bring it to me or else you will captain your ship all yourself.
Elizabeth: (horrified) James?
Calypso: He helped William Turner.
Elizabeth: Don't hurt him.
Calypso: I suppose I might not. Der be other ones in da world as much trouble if not more. Jack Sparrow for instance.
Elizabeth: I'll get you your ring if you'll never bother any of us again.
(Calypso smiles and vanishes into the clouds)

I'll sum up to the best of my ability for ivebeendepped and anyone else who's a bit confused.
Will is dead. Davy has been killed, but Beckett escaped and is plotting to destroy the pirates. Calypso is being mysterious as usual-- alternately desiring to have Davy restored to her, partnering with Beckett, and harassing the pirates.
Elizabeth and Jack journeyed to one of Beckett's caribbean strongholds, as Elizabeth was hell-bent on some quick and violent revenge. Jack humoured her, hoping to gain information on how to destroy Beckett and assure the safety of himself and fellow pirates. Unfortunately, Jack was captured by Beckett's men, providing for Elizabeth's escape.
Elizabeth has been met by Calypso, who bargains with her in exchange for various loved-ones' lives. Elizabeth agrees to help Calypso in order to save them.
James took the rest of the pirates to Tortuga to try and gain information on Beckett. He was reunited with his father and some shady characters who seem to be servants of Calypso. Thinking he had leverage, he also bargained with Calypso and was nearly killed by her. His father intervened and gave him direction to Beckett's stronghold, where Jack is being held. James took off with the fleet to plan an attack on the fortress, or at least spy it out. He arrived on the island where the fortress was, leaving the fleet in safety.
Anne was kidnapped by Beckett a while back (source of tension for Surreal, I think... since I didn't clarify how Beckett managed that) and subsequently lied to regarding James' love for her. In an attempt to keep herself alive and get back at James for what she assumes was his betrayal, she partners with Beckett to capture James without loss of life to Beckett's men. James is captured, and Anne is freed to return to England. She leaves, amidst James' assurance that he still loves her.
