So this is who I feel are the most dangerous people in the tourney.

Scoobs

Entity
King Kandy

May I ask why everyone is giving me such good odds?
I'm not bitchin so don't take it that way. I'm just curious and thankful just don't quite understand. ๐Ÿ˜•

I think they're just making a joke at your expense.

I think I should PM goober and become the alternate...then when someone drops out I'll instantly be the favorite because I know everyone's picks. People would be PISSED!

Most of the picks. And a few (like MM and Trick) can't hide their picks. So it only leaves a few. I could probably guess 9/12 correctly right now based on all I know....it's kind of a unique position, but I like it.

meh, the knowlledge prolly STILL wouldn't help you. ๐Ÿ˜›

You're right. I can't draft The Doctor, Adam Warlock and Spider-Man.

๐Ÿ™

Actually, I could draft Spidey.

- fanboy speedblitz dodging ftw!

Actually, that much knowledge would just do your head in .... you'd have the problem of knowing exactly what you had to counter but with no way of covering all your bases.

If I'm right, you're going to smack yourself later. Or you should.

QFT. And I'm rather meticulous. It would drive me nuts.

Also:

Drafts

01.Yellowjacket
02.Hawkman
03.Havok
04.Spiral
05.Tony Stark
06.Cable w/ techno virus
07.Vision
08.Blink
09.Nightshade
10.Doc Sampson
11. Spartan
12. Karate Kid

...

Thoughts:
- Vision, IM and KK are as solid as they come. They would all be high on my list.
- Cable should still be banned.
- I'm intrigued by Spartan and Yellowjacket. And I love to see Wildstorm getting their hand in the pot.

I stopped debating with him. If I continued, I would be breaking my personal policy about not entertaining the imbecilic.

To me each tourney gets harder and harder...and winning say any tourney 2006 and on, it means something more than winning one in 05'. I'm not trying to take anything away from the original tourney winners or participants; but every aspect has evolved- rules, debating, character knowledge etc. Like I can think of one instance when people snuck in characters past limits (remember Strange in that heralder tourney?). Or the people trying to get multiplication/duplication powers etc over the heads of the tourney runner. Strategy's have gotten harder and more complex to come up with..well they kinda have to. (you can say quality heads make the tourney what it is..but everyones learned from them to some degree).

See the inherit problem with Hawksmoor is that I'm probably one of the two people on this site that actually reads the Authority, everyone else probably just looks at the respect thread and goes Ooooooo pret-ty feets.

One big difference is scans, back when I started doing these things it was all arguments, now everyone is pretty much required to prove everything with scans of some sort.

It's not such a huge deal in an amalgam tourney as there will be things happening that the individual characters couldn't do on their own anyway and therefore scans can't be shown of them being done previously.

That's good to know. Makes it a little easier than the other tournaments.

Average debater? ๐Ÿ˜› I'll show you. durfist

Ya... you'll prove that's too high a level for you to achieve.
