Based on the powerset description it doesn't look like her powers are on Nightshade's level.

From what I have been told, the powers are almost exactly the same, just Nightshade has more experience with them, while Umbra has the martial art edge (compared to KK). She can still do some GL-lite stuff with them.

She was stalemating someone that Ultra boy compared to mon-el.....I havent seen the fight, so it could be a mix of power and MA, so it doesnt mean she gets the insta ban.

All I know is, that someone REALLY wants them damn shadow powers. Sheesh: nightshade, obsidian, umbra?!

Experience isn't really relevant when it comes to power caps though ... she either has > IM power or she doesn't.

She isnt as strong as most Shadow/Dark users that tap into the 'Shadowrealm', like Obsidian, nightshade and others (in DC), because she doesn't.

Obsidian is a total monster when he wants to be so that doesn't say much. LOL @ whoever tried to draft him in the first place 🙄

She's done more than enough to say she shouldn't be in an Iron Man level tourney. Could anyone in this tourney mess with Validus? Doubt it. ermmnone
