I have my opinions, but they'll likely change after Round 1 is done. Generally, lots of people think of things I hadn't expected and it changes the dynamic of the tourney.
But the strategies seem interesting so far. And I was aware of leo "unlocking" all of DHII's abilities a while ago, but I was impressed by the ingenuity....I was trying to find a good way to use him (and I would have entered if I had) but the cyborg limitaitons prevented me. So it's mildly frustrating to see someone figure something out that I couldn't, but also rewarding to see the creativity.
...and he still has a tough battle on his hands, so we'll see.

well, thanks kind sir. π
you'd have figured out a way if you REALLY wanted to enter. π

I'm sure DH II has an on/off switch under his left armpit.
πhifty:
actually, that's not QUITE true. i drafted forge for a power thinking i could use his inventiveness to do all sorts of good things to the dhii body (especially given spiral's cybernetic expertise) π
but . . . goob said no go. π a legit (proveable) technopath was needed. and there really were NOT many out there that had anything ADDITIONAL as a power.
AND who weren't super-uber powerful.

Really? ... I would have assumed the Fixer, using the full prep time, would be able to get the thing working ... I suppose he does have artificial "technopathy" (is there such a thing as "natural" technopathy?)
Basically, he controls his tech pack with his mind and could use that as a link to interface with the DH II body.
Might work ... shrug
I remember someone drafted Fixer early on only for him to be switched out again ... was it you?
Dang. There's a DHII ally named Killpower that has a natural ability to be able to understand and operate any machinery. Like a walking tech plot device. And he also managed to stalemate mortal Hercules in arm-wrestling for a while (the table broke, it was inconclusive). Could've been a massively useful pick.
But there wouldn't be a way to get both his body and his powers....at least not in a way that would help Minion (also a "body" pick).
For the record, that was me who had Fixer. I couldn't find scans or decent enough feats to support my arguements. Plus, I got a better pick with Blue beetle.
So I'm glad this thing FINALLY got under way. Good luck guys.
and Scoob? Make sure you tie that kinky ***** down. Knowing Faith, you let her loose, she'll stake your ass just for spite. π

I'm kinda glad he got dumped ... I was considering him myself as I do have scans of his better feats ... I wasn't looking forward to seeing how he was going to be amalgamated.
