Yeah. But I still can't believe you chose those three characters...

And besides I even told Leo I pretty much knew he'd win but I also said I wasn't handing it to him either. That I definitely think I've accomplished. π

Besides I knew I needed people I had info on and knew how to use.
There's a lot to be said for that. Like when pr picked Superman last tourney....most of us avoid Kal like the plague, but pr actually used him well because he knows the character better than nearly anyone. I'd like to think the same could be said for my pick of Adam Warlock as well, because people were writing us off as soon as Scoob and I picked him.
But comfort level with a character is definitely a big bonus.

Hey, that was your pick. Thor and Warlock were the only 2 I knew jack about.
...to be honest, though, you probably had pretty much every showing of him ever (except of course for that Hercules thing π ). But considering how much we made up on the fly, it was remarkable we backed it up so much.

so, odds anyone?
imo, kk's amalgam has what it takes (in terms of versatility and pure power) to beat bw. that, and the off-beat battlesite should make things interesting. based on kk's LAST tournament (non-)showing though . . . it's gotta be bw's to lose.
roldz is definitely the underdog in his match, and a pretty heavy one imo. but roldz is a VERY underrated debater, so what his amalgam MAY lack in overall power (and i'm not fully versed in all his characters so i may be underestimating them and hence underestimating his chances) roldz himself may make up for in debating skill. and he is VERY familiar with his characters -- something that shouldn't be overlooked.
i'll say bw and nj, but neither is an overwhelming favourite, (though nj SEEMS like a greater favourite, imo) and i wouldn't be at all surprised if either (or both) of the favourites were toppled by the "underdogs". π
good luck to all.
