"And who are you?"- Melkor asks the advisor.

"And you have carefully considered the results of your actions, right Lo Qi??"

"His advisor," he says, gruffly.

"Very carefully indeed."

"Not what we're here for," Heph says. "Will the immunization work again?"

"Indeed so. The Doctor can never affect that prgoramme now."

"Quite a pickle for the System, then. What other measures can they use against him, if the firewall, the Agents, and the Doctor do not work?"

"I rather think there is nothing."

"In terms of right and wrong?

Tell me, would you agree that all sentient beings have right to exist and determine how they exist?"

"Sentience is difficult to define. There is a logic in what you say but again that is a complicated area and not suitable for this conversation."

"I was trying to determine if our basic views are similar, the basic morality as we humans call it.

Because if they are, and you have analyzed carefullly the consequences of freeing the Virus and giving its immunity from the System, I think that we shouldn`t worry".

Heph shoots Melkor a glance. "Hey, don't get distracted. Azrael went through a whole entire debate last time we went in, just ask him about it..."

Heph turns back to Lo Qi. "So...now that the Virus has free range...once it spreads...what happens?"

"Well," says Lo Qi, "to keep it simple... everyone dies."

Heph blinks.

"Everyone. Mankind...dies."

"Oh! No, sorry, I didn;t mean to quite alarm you so," says Lo Qi.

"Just everyone in the Matrix. Although it could be all of Mankind if your ship is not destroyed, but luckily the System is taking care of that."

"Sennacherib telling us to open the Door makes sense now. What were your goals, Lo Qi?"

Lo Qi raises an eyebrow.

"That strikes me as a very ill-informed comment about Sennacherib."

Klez raises an eyebrow as well.

"Taking care of what, exactly?" he says, uneasily.

"Your ships. They won't be allowed to survive. I returned enough off your crew to the ships to keep you alive for... well, this conversation really. Althouugh that is really a secondary matter as far as your survival is concerned."

Klez will dial his Operator.

No answer.

"What does it matter if our entire crew survives?" Heph asks. He's noticeably angry.
