Need Help With Firewall

Whenever Im using any program that connects to the internet (iTunes store, WoW news launcher, Steam etc), something on my computer is blocking me from connecting to any internet content. For example, I can open and run iTunes fine, but cant connect to the online store. I get this message:

"Forbidden

You were denied access because:

Access denied by access control list"

I cant figure out what is blocking all of my programs. I have Windows Firewall turned off, and my Norton firewall is set to permit these programs to access thenet. Any help would be appreciated

This isnt really a firewall issue, I just checked the net for some info on it and it seems you are using IE and in IE you probably have the proxy server checkbox ticked so to un tick it just go to tools>internet options> select connections tab> LAN settings and make sure non of the boxes are ticked on.

On the Microsoft website it also says this problem may be due to your ISP where the connection is damaged only when using dial-up. Try what I posted first and then we will go from there.
