for one, the king thor/genis thing was a total non-fight. and if we are counting it as a fight, king thor had the upper hand.

second of all, sentry got blinked away, then let go, and the genis ran the hell away.

for three, until sentry actually loses a bout, it's quite impossible to judge versus battles featuring sentry.

Thor threw his hammer at Genis,

Genis took the shot then blasted Thor away,

then the fight was interrupted by another part of the story involving two Giants.

But during that issue KT realized just how powerful Genis was,

when Genis showed Thor the True Past of his father Odin just by touching him.

Thor was amazed at Genis' power.

Sentry did not let go yet, and when he said he wasnt going to hold back anymore, Genis pretty much said that was his cue to get the hell out of dodge. Take it for whats its worth.

All that scan shows is Genis owning Sentry.

The scan shows me that Genis knew he was about to get his ass kicked and ran like a little girl.

How does it show Sentry being owned? Because Genis teleported him away because he knew what was about to happen?

simple: thor had barely exerted himself, and the narration: "this could be a bad idea". it's a slight upperhand, but an upperhand.

and aunt may could've been involved in that event. we have no (and i mean absolutely zero) idea how much of it was genis.
