Actually no, the second time the American's voted him in decisively. As for why they did that I cannot explain.

Why the **** would I want to vote for Kerry? Listening to him speak is enough torture. At least Bush has a cool name. 😕 So why do you care Starhawk? Your Canadian ..

122,293,332 of the about 293,000,000 people voted in all.

That would be less than half. Bush won 51% of the popular vote (By about 3 million)- not too decisively, if in my opinion, when you factor in the electoral College.

All together, 62,040,610 out of the roughly 293,000,000 Americans at the time voted for Bush: about a fifth.

Decisively? And you say you pay attention to American politics?

In 2000, Bush lost the popular by .5 million votes and won the electoral vote by 5. That's not decisive at all.

And in 2004, Bush had 50.7% of the popular vote to John Kerry's 48.3%. More decisive, but still hardly a landslide.

You could make a case for 2004, but we voted him in decisively, twice? You're off your rocker 😬
