The entire council? Mace alone could give him hell. Give Mace any single council member and they win. Give him 10, which include Anakin and Kenobi? Yoda gets ass raped times 10. This isn't even funny...

Agreed, Mace and Anakin can do it alone, maybe Anakin alone, if he is in the Zone.

C'mon.. We all know that R.O.T.S. Anakin, even if "in the zone", can in no way defeat R.O.T.S. Yoda, in any way.

I'd be a slaughter.

Actually a "In the Zone Anakin" could beat Yoda in saber combat, but not in a Force battle.

Anyways, there's no way Yoda could beat the whole council. No one in the SW universe could beat the whole council with the possible exceptions of NJO (and beyond) Luke and DE Sidious, but even they would more then likely lose.

"In the zone Anakin" doesn't exist.

Really? I think Dooku might disagree with that statement.

The Dooku that was defeated by "in the zone Anakin" doesn't exist either, so I don't really care what he thinks.

So...Dooku doesn't exist...is what your saying? 🤨

The whole RotS novelisation fightscene between Dooku and Anakin was a complete contradiction to the movie, is what I'm getting at. None of that stuff counts in continuity, because it depicts an entirely different fightscene with few similarities.

Some specifics of the duel are altered, but Dooku's thoughts and fears about Anakin, and Anakin simply choosing to win are all canon.

No they're not, because all of those thought were based on the invalid duel that was taking place.

Or you should add Sidious & Dooku to help Yoda.

Actually, that would possibly result in FP Anakin since Sidious want Anakin since he has the most potential.

I agree. C'mon, Anakin in the Zone defeated one of the greatest Jedi of all times in 30 seconds, that surely means something against Yoda.

I agree, in teh zone Anakin beats Yoda in a saber duel.

Can Anakin in the zone beat Mace?

Probably.

I meant only in saber combat, of course Yoda wins an a Force contest.

Yoda still loses in a force contest against the entire council😛

Every Jedi Master is "in the zone" when in combat. That's why they're Jedi masters. Cause of the total dedication and concentration when in a duel.

Like Yoda doesn't get in the zone either. What about the fight with Dooku when Yoda threw the Siths' power back at him a couple 'o times and/or when Yoda shoved the living shite outta Sidious on 2 occasions in R.O.T.S. nearly knocking him out.

Anakin isn't. He lacks the discipline of the "other Jedi" you are talking about but when he has it he is almost unstoppable, especially in saber combat. Anakin definitely has an "in the Zone" and "not in the Zone" mode. His fight with Dooku = In the Zone, his fight with Obi-Wan = incredibly not in the Zone, there's a major difference between the 'two' Anakin's. In the Zone Anakin is confident, precise, and completely in-tune with the Force unlike any other Jedi could be. Anakin when not in the Zone is an emotional arrogant idiot who acts on impulse and makes rash stupid decisions that get him pwned.

Well said.
