Sun Boy claims Validus can take down entire cities with his mental lightning, and that his voice itself is like thunder.

His mental lightning can give out the energy of 1,000 30th Century power plants. The sheer power that Validus is unleashing almost knocks out Sun Boy, and his high intensity solar burst does nothing to Validus.

A portion of a Sun-Eater unleashes planet-splitting force, and it is met by the equally devastating power of Validus.

A wounded Validus shows up and saves Valiant Girl from another portion of the Sun-Eater. He also forces it to retreat.

The impact between Validus’s mental lightning and the Persuader’s atomic axe sends the Fatal Five to another dimension.

Validus takes out Superboy.
