Superman to appear on 'The Batman'

'The batman' is starting to head towards the DCAU route in their own way.

As we reported a few weeks ago, Superman will be making his first appearance on "The Batman" animated series next season.
TV Guide magazine has given us a first glimpse of Superman's appearance on the show, and has this to say about the appearance of further superheroes...

For four seasons of The Batman, the Caped Crusader has acted locally. Now it's time to think globally. In the CW cartoon's two-part season finale (4/28 and 5/5), an alien invasion forces Batman to work with another superhero, Martian Manhunter. And that's just the beginning: In Season 5, Batman makes more superfriends. "Martian Manhunter is starting the Justice League," executive producer Alan Burnett says, "and he would like nothing better than to have Batman on the team."

god why do they have to go there. They know they can't beat DCAU. why bother? why not just show repeats of the old batman and superman and JL and JLU. they'll be a 1000X better.

I'll be buying 'the batman' DVDs purely for collectors value. I'm interested to watch it and check it out, and see what they are doing.

but other than that meh. I'll be also buying 'the new adventures of batman' , and ''the new adventures of superman' dvds, along with the next superfriends dvd coming in august.

that was the dcau back then, they used the same voice actors for years.

To even attempt this is way too early & unneccessary. They still haven;t touched on classic Batman villains like Two-Face.

yea i haven't heard anything about two face abd u think he would be in it cause of all the other villains they put into it

they won't use two face as he's being used in the Batman Begins franchise. so...its very unlikely we'll see him animated anytime soon.

Looks like we at least get to see supes smack the crap out of some of "The Batman's" rogues.

That's the point, we haven't even seen all of Batman's villains & we're getting Superman & the Justice League already. It's much too early.
