The NJO vs. The Old-School

Since I had the PT fight the NJO and the PT fight the Old-School...it seems natural.

1. Anakin Solo vs. Ulic Qel-Droma (no amulet blasts if he has them)
A. Lightsaber combat
B. Force duel
C. All-out fight.

Battle is onbaord the Second Death Star. The room where Palpatine, Vader and Luke all were.

2. Corran Horn vs. Kas'Im
A. Lightsaber duel
B. Force duel
C. All-out fight.

In the fields of Dantooime.

3. Powered-Up Lord Nyax vs. Star Forge Malak
A. Lightsaber duel....OUCH.
B. Force duel
C. All-out fight

Takes place on the uh...Star Forge.

4. Kyle Katarn vs. Darth Bane
A. Lightsaber duel
B. Force duel
C. All-out fight.

Fight is onboard the Invisible Hand where Dooku was killed.

5. Jacen Solo vs. Post-KOTOR Revan
A. Lightsaber duel
B. Force duel
C. ALl out fight.

Neutral setting.

6. Kyp Durron vs. Exar Kun

1. I assume it's ROTS Anakin. Then I can't decide for any of them, it's to close, sorry.
2. Don't know enough about Horn, but can't he like not even use the Force?

You realize Nyax is sucking on the Force springwell from the Jedi Temple and how is Malak gonna beat him in a lightsaber duel when Nyax has SIX of them and not even NJO Luke could take him in melee...and that was non-powered up Nyax....

very close, Exar wins all but barely.

I don't think you know the full circumstances of that fight. And this is on the SF is it not? Good luck to Nyax.

I've read the book. And I know the context. The context being that every time Luke engaged Nyax in sabers, he was dominated.

A. Ulic takes this. Anakin Solo is good, but Ulic has shown a greater level of mastery. Anakin had much more potential than Ulic, I would possibly go so far as to say that he equalled Anakin SKYWALKER in potential, but he never realized anywhere near the extent of that before his death (hence they should have killed off Jacen in my opinion. Anakin Solo is the only person I can reasonably see becoming more powerful than Luke at one point).

B. I don't know enough and don't feel like getting into an argument by saying something that I'm ill-equipped to defend. Neither ever showed an extensive display of Force Ability to my knowledge.

For the record though Anakin definately had more Force Potential than Ulic.

C. This goes to Ulic. I believe that Ulic would be the victor in a lightsaber contest and that they are extemely close in the Force. Ulic should be overall just plain better.

A. This is a tough one. Corran is extremely capable with a saber naturally as he was able to defeat a Jensarri (spelling) warrior with only six weeks of training. Kas'im has more technical knowledge but I believe Corran to have superior natural ability. I think I'd give it to Kas'im though.

B. I'm giving this to Corran. Yes, Corran cannot use telekinesis, but his level of mind control and enery absorbtion may even surpass what Luke can muster. For example, Corran was capable of mind tricking JA Luke (post-DE) for several moments with only his LATENT ability. He was also capable of absorbing tremendous amounts of heat with his latent ability (he protected himself from superheated water on Yavin) and is more than capable of redirecting said energy; the massive explosion in the smuggler base for example. He can easily take anything Kas'im can though at him and send it back with enough power to defeat Kas'im. Keep in mind that Corran was Kyp's counter balance in the Order during Luke's periods of absence indicating Corran's extreme Force Abilities.

C. Corran takes this. They are much closer in a saber abilities than they are in the Force. If Kas'im was a 100 with a saber I'd give Corran a 95 and if Kas'im was a hundred with the Force I'd give Corran a 120+. In an all out fight Corran should definately win.

A. Nyax takes this. He's got six sabers and far more physical strength than Malak. He just plain overwhelms Malak.

B. Nyax win here too. The guy was almost a match for NJO Luke for crying out loud.

C. Nyax wins in both A and B, so he obviously takes the cup in C.

C. I'd say Anakin. Before his death he was quite the one who came closest to NJO Luke in terms of power. He was definetly more powerful than Jacen and Jaina. I don't see Ulic winning this.

A. Ah well...this is close, like Glentract already said. Corran is a prodigy, Kas'Im a hard worker. Don't know who wins here.
B. Definetly Corran Horn. Through energy absorbation and redirection he easily wins this.
C. Corran - vast advantage in the force department

A. Lightsaber duel....OUCH.

Nyax destroys Malak in all three fights.

4. Kyle Katarn vs. Darth Bane

Fight is onboard the Invisible Hand where Dooku was killed.

A. Kyle is a damn lightsaber prodigy who was capable of kicking the asses of seven Dark Jedi without much training with that weapon. Aside of that he has slaughtered an entire Imperial Base with apparent ease. I guess he wins that.
B. Urm. Hard. But considering Kyle was a match for Jerec who partitially leeched power from the Valley of the Jedi and later absorbed a part of the power himself I guess he's pretty powerful in that department. I'd still say that might result in a draw although Bane might also win this.
C. Going by A and B I'd say that Kyle barely manages to win.

5. Jacen Solo vs. Post-KOTOR Revan
A. Lightsaber duel
B. Force duel
C. ALl out fight.

A. Most likely Revan
B. Most likely Jacen
C. Erm...close. I'd give that to Revan.

That would leave Kun and Revan I think.
Luke renders himself invisible and unsenseable starts creating force loops and destroys them with Emerald Lightning.
Nah...I really don't see how somebody is capable of surviving the onslaught of Luke as descriped in TUF when he really goes "all out".

Thank you Darth_Glentract, people don't give Horn the credit he deserves.
