Is Lucas losing it? General Grievous was shot with a blaster. How lame and unoriginal. (SuperShadow: This shows a naive interpretation of the world. You're the type of person who doesn't realize there are hundreds and hundreds of foreign spies planted all over the United States. The # 1 most powerful and richest nation on this world would be the top target for all espionage. We have the technology they want. They want to know what the most influential country is up to. In contrast, we don't have effective spies in places like Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and etc. etc. because our leaders are not wise enough to know that you have to know what the others know about you.)
I think SuperTurd has finally lost it! I'm not quite sure what spies have to do with a ficticious character in a sci-fi film!?!?!?
So what has the great (yea right) given us today?
Hey SS, I know you have a love of the new movies because you were involved in their development. (SuperShadow: SS sculpted the story outlines of the prequels with Lucas starting in 1995.) I have to say the original movies are way better. (SuperShadow: Most fans disagree with ya.) FAR more entertaining (the originals before Lucas messed them up. Why would you have Darth Sidious reveal Vader has a son and ruin the big surprise at the end of The Empire Strikes Back? Pure badness). When I have kids they'll see the movies in the same order they were released and it'll be the originals. Not the updated versions. Those are not good. (SuperShadow: Many people worship the prequels in the same manner you would honor a golden idol.)
I love the part I italicized.
Dear SuperShadow, in Episode One when they are about to start the pod-race game, when Jabba the Hutt comes out there are two Hutts. Who is that one behind him? Please respond. I've never sent a comment. (SuperShadow: The Phantom Menace has the highest worldwide box-office gross of all Star Wars films. From all objective standards, this clearly makes The Phantom Menace the most awesome Star Wars episode.)
What does that have to do with the question?
And today we have
Hey yo, SS, on the December 18, 2007 posts you mentioned (for the umpteenth time) that most fans prefer the new movies. I think you're dead wrong. (SuperShadow: Sadly, your position cannot be backed up with any evidence. All objective proof (i.e, theatrical box-office grosses, DVD sales, ancillary merchandising and etc. etc. to no end) all reveal the complete superiority of the prequel trilogy over the simpleton classic trilogy.)
Seems like that fan has the right I idea from I have seen here the OT>Pt though I do like ROTS the best.
I love Shadow's response here to some list of 10 worst movie endings ever (im not gonna post the rest since it is not from the article but here the link)
http://www.supershadow.com It is close to the end of todays questions/comments.
Shadow, I recently read an article claiming they knew the Top 10 Worst Movie Endings of All Time and I was surprised to see Star Wars on the list. Here is what they stated and why it was one of the worst movie endings:"Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" (1983). One word: Ewoks. A few more: Ewoks dancing and singing on the forest moon of Endor to celebrate the destruction of the second Death Star, the toppling of the Empire and its Emperor, the burning corpse of Darth Vader, the re-humanity of Anakin Skywalker, the brotherhood/sisterhood of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, the imminent marriage of Han Solo and Leia, the general good guy redemption of Lando Calrissian (and his friendship with the vaguely Japanese fish guy co-pilot), C-3PO's elevation to deity status and something about R2-D2 and blah blah blah. (SuperShadow: You need to understand that the opinions of zeros at life do not matter to SS and Lucas.)
