Actually this game's plot seems made up. One thing we have seen with the game is that they don't actually do anything usually to change the actual story. Darth Vader would have no Sith Apprentice. Remember the rule of 2. Something even Lucas acknowledges. Remember, Palpatine did not just want any jedi left to die, he want any force user left to die. Now I am going to get into some stuff from the EU, I know you obviously do not like it, but seeing as Lucas himself sees it as there being 2 worlds, The Movies canon story line and the one Supported by the EU. This is the EU board so I will use it here since it seems explains Palpatine reasonings best. Palpatine wanted all force users dead except for the few he kept around for his own personal uses. Though he only trained them to the point of being able to complete the task he gave them. The exception being Vader, seeing as he had him wrapped around his fingers. According to the EU, Vader hunted down and killed anyone he found to be force user. The emperor developed a device to actually detect forcer users to make this easier. Though they had to be close to the force user to tell. To also Support that he wanted no other force user to be able to rise up against him was the fact that he destroyed the Jedi Archives as well as every bit of information on the Jedi, Sith and other force related stuff that he could find.

Now it is possible Suttle could have gotten the name of the game right because names leak out all the time. But the plot just sounds fake.

Actually, I the game's plot of having Darth Vader having a "secret" apprentice is true. According to the latest Star Wars insider thats is, and I am sure various websites, they have an entire article about it in Insider, along with quite a lot of pre-visualization art of the game.

As for your views on Suttle. Like queeq said, he is often as wrong as he is right. The fact of the matter is though, Suttle has more going against him these days then he used to.
