Katarn is to Luke, as Mace is to Yoda. In fact, you could do the same thing you did with Mace. Make Katarn have like 5 minutes of screen time in Episode 7. Make Katarn a little more of a main character in Episode 8 and then in Episode 9 Katarn could have a really important role and then get wasted (as the plot formula foretells). Trust me a lot of fans would love to see Kyle. (SuperShadow: I think not. Most diehard fans have no idea who Kyle Katarn is.)

Cory you should make more Katarn videos for SS, it will help your chances of getting the role, maybe include actual animation this time, or use that spoiler pic posted here weeks ago.
except the thrawn trilogy,labyrinth of evil,path of destruction,and there a few really well written material. But even a lot of people here find the legacy comics and the legacy books bad,and poorly written.And there a few books that have nothing to do with the main characters that are a good read.
edit: and im pretty sure shadow most diehard fans would know who katarn is.

Star Wars books are cool! I owe a lot to Star Wars books for making me a good reader. I love the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest series. Jaeh, have you read Darth Bane: Path of Destruction? Its the best book I have ever read!
SuperShadow was actually right on the lightsaber thing, in the actual films, all the actors use is metal hilts with painted wood rods as the "blade." The actual blade is added with computer generated visual effects.

I don't read NJO.. 😬 i dunno.. there is something about it i don't like.. other EU books are okay though...

Yeah Jedi Apprentice rocks. The Darth Bane book is set in the old Republic era, some thousand years (or a few thousand) BBY or whatever. I don't read NJO also. It looks like crappy EU.

Somethings what you read on SS.com are only to fool the fans to what they don't want to hear. Lucas has every intention of including Jedi Master Kyle Katarn in The Fallen Hero, The Republic in Crisis and Victory of the Force.
