He does completely love MJ but if Gwen had lived they never would've became what they have. IMO

All of Spidermans current writers were asked the same question.

I know I just read it, and they all said the same thing, that because they grew up with MJ they prefer MJ... and it was their editors anyway 😛

As far as a fight goes, I remember reading somewhere than MJ can take an average to a semi-athletic male in a fight.
