Ditte3 great point!!!! it fits here well really...as gibbs said "no no no i heard it was the sea he fell in love with" or something like this yeah it fits...the same stories different versions and all are true...so it was a woman!...and jack´s first,only love is the sea so the woman so ...elizabeth 🙂 it´s simple.... and jack was surprised when tia said it about touch of destiny about Will...not about jack... do you think that jack was maybe surprised coz it didn´t fit Will at all by his opinion???...

and i was thinking about something...but it is about the last scene in tia´s hut...when she told Will that she knows he thinks if they had pearl they could free his father´s soul... so she knows about everything..and did they tell her or she knew it before???coz it seems she knows a lot of interesting things...and how did she know about will and his father on the dutchman?????and will was not surprised she knows it...so what??? 😕 ...or am i just too unobservant???

JacksSweet, it is strange she seems to know exactly what everyone is thinking at the end. But she had to have known before they arrived. The people outside her shack with the candles weren't there before. They're mourners.

We've pretty much concluded here that Tia Dalma is actually the sea goddess Calypso. Someone else should explain that to you because I was just a newbie when that information was circulating, so I'm no help there. Thing is, if she's a goddess, she probably does have some ESP. Maybe she acted surprised when they all told her, though.

i can´t help myself but i suppose she simply HAD TO know about it all coz she got barbossa to her hut...and she isn´t a nurse or doctor or lifesaver to do so...so i think she had to know about it about jack´s dead... so it seems everything was "thought-out" before...
...after all she´s goddess... but i consider it still as difficult to understand her plans and who knows who else had plans like that and knew about "certain things"...
