Captain Marvel (DC)
A lot of people think that CM is basically a "magic version of Superman", which is simply not the case. For most of his showings in the DCU, he's often stated on panel to be Superman's peer in the physical sense, something that Superman himself agrees with. Not only that, but even before he became Lord Marvel, it was stated on panel by numerous heroes that it was entirely possibly that Marvel hadn't even reached his full potential. DC needs to wake up and give him a New Earth continuity ongoing.
Thunderstrike
as Thor's stand-in he has had years of fighting experience long b4 his new personal. he has had constant years of on panel Captain America training, supervision and tutelage to the point he even references Cap's moves as he replicates them in battle. people think that because he believe in non violent approach/naive that he must be weak or he is stupid.
he may be a lil slightly weaker then his peers in 100 ton range but, he is still considered in the same weight class . Maxam has even stated both thunderstrike and Hercules were easily all in the same weight class as him.
Thunderstrike even partook in small skirmish with Drax who was not holding back and thought it was thor.. Thunderstrike was still fresh and uninjured in the next panel...
Strike can still ground and pound with the best of them creating tremors, mini quakes, also has one of the best feats out there on par with the likes of thor and hulk.. he created a ravine in order to drop Absorbing man in....
Strike has even fought an entire Caravan of Asgardian warriors including lady Sif and even took a direct hit to the chest and simply registering as a minor impact...
He has used his mace to magically heal a few times after battle for the sole purpose to refresh/heal himself...
his casual energy blast have bn enough to incinerate a magic brick who was overpowering him in a locked up struggle of pure strength when he panicked and his mace responded on its own.. his blast have also overloaded a future version of Ironman knocking him out of the sky frying the armor all while he was laughing and not trying.. Strike even accidentally created an Emp wave when he made a signal flare frying a bunch of shield tech on the helcarrier and a side effect of rolling thunder. strikes mace can even draw out electrical energy from the city grid and redirect it without injury and shock the sh$# out of some one like She-hulk even when he is holding back and just trying to calm her down...
his speed and agility are also above peak in the enhanced range.. he has held a conversation and swatted multiple gunfire from the sky with a simple single swipe while having one hand on his hip nonchalantly... he has evaded dodged used agility to zig and zag from future ironmen onboard tracking system all while saying he was trained by the best and he would not be hit so long as cap's training had anything to say about it.
he has also judo/tossed and countered in fights where he has stated it is a cap move gaining the advantage and even ko'es his enemy while being smug.. also ducked under and leaped in the air and stated it was cap training that kept him from getting cut in have with a thor lvl bad guy(BloodAxe).
Cap has even given Thunderstrike Props and doesnt worry about him. he saw Strike and Herc fighting underwater against Tigershark and Namor. Strike had his Air mask removed and everyone panicked Cap responded that Strike was fine that he shares the same physiology to thor and should be fine which strike was.
whenever his natural powers may not be enough he has employed the bloodaxe his secondary weapon.
all this and ppl view him as just some mid meta lvl guy with no versatility or experience a simple Jobber in the same lvl of Classic Rogue and not even enough respect to put him in the same range as a guy like firelord hell most ppl dont even put him above current Ms. Marvel....
at least she has her own respect thread and emo character.. and she is still alive!!jr_shakefist

did i mention Cap once Sicked Strike into battle on a Thor lvl Asgardian monster?
that is how much Cap thought about strike's power lvl he even respects and assumes Strikes expertise in everything asgardian when thor isnt around.

And all those who going on and on about Punisher being underrated despite having the feats have forgotten that all his opponents are totally watered down for Frank to prevail. His fights with others make no sense considering his opponent's feats. Feats and PIS resulting from bad writing are different. Frank owning some fodder in swordfight? Believable. Frank beating an unknown master swordsman in a swordfight? Plausible, but kinda difficult to digest when Frank had never shown to be skilled with swords, but can be explained with retcon. Frank beating Deadpool in a swordfight. Just stupid PIS brought on due to bad writing, jobbing Wade to make Frank look badass
