I don't think it made any sense. Why would a barrage of punches from the Hulk do more damage to Wolverine's brain then one punch? Wolverine's durability isn't far enough removed from baseline human to make a lick of difference, one punch from the Hulk would liquify the sucker... and once your brain is liquified there isn't much more damage that can be done to it. Either he can heal fast enough to repair the damage or he can't, in which case the first punch should have killed him.

I still don't see that feat as a bad one.. WWH's been stomping EVERYBODY.. I'm proud of the runt that he held out as long as he did.. Plus he was cutting Hulk up like a turkey.. pretty much solidifies that he CAN cut hulk.. end of debate end of story.
hell I don't even consider the Namor fight a bad feat, Namor had to run away to water to keep competetive for god sakes..
