I read the issue (from the posted links that are now deleted)...it was pretty good.
but there is one thing i dont get: how does Lazarous kill Wolverine...given that Lazarous fights with a sword...and Wolverine isn't really harmed by a sword. Even in the World War fight with Lazarous, we see that Lazarous stabs the sword through Logan with no effect.

It his soul fight not his body. So it hard to say if he has all his normal powers as a soul. But the real reason has to do with logan will to live which doctor strange states. The reason he died this time was due to the fact his will to keep living was not nearly as strong as it normally is due to losing another loved one

ie. the Wolverine art would look horrible in a superman comic, but it kinda works with the grittiness of Wolverine
just like the Iron Fist art really works for the IF comics, but would be unsuitable for an iron man comic
Howard needs a good colourist for his work to shine. I mean just look at his work on The Scorpio Connection back in 89, it's beautiful!
However... I also think Chaykin is one of those artists that has become too comfortable in their style, how grow progressively lazier and worse (I'm look at you Leinil Francis Yu) over time.

I was looking through old topics, I found a thread where this wolverine888 guy said he beats Superman because he can't be knocked out or killed because of his Hf and he can cut and kill Supes.
He must have been the dumbest MF ever. 😂
But anyway Logan's character has been pretty bad for years now. The Logan where he had a good HF but didn't do crazy stuff and didn't live forever.
If he went back to those levels he would probably be liked again.

Logan characters been fine if you read him. But of course he apeares bad if you never read his comics and went by what people said. Logan healing factor has conistently gotten stronger. Like most characters he powers of gotten greater. Logan simply hated becuase he popular, but not the most popular making him an easy target. Also people on the boards love there stupid ban wagons.
No matter what Logan does he won't be liked. The boards have allways and will always hate him becuas eit the "cool thing to do"
Who cares what the boards think of wolverine, i love the comic and the character,do you really think the most popular selling mutant has the marvel people worried because he is not liked on messege boards lol

I have recently read allot more of him, its not the healing factor getting stronger its that sometimes it works well and then it doesn't.
Its all the magic, god stuff. Its complete crap.

When he was a regular mutant who didn't know all of his past he was cool.
He could have has a cool or interesting past, but instead we get this.
You can not honestly say current Wolverine is as cool as the classic one.
You are, I assume, aware that ever since it was established that Wolverine has had a healing factor in Uncanny X-Men 142 (1981 seven years after his first appearance) it has been in rut? The Brood Saga, his fight with Lady Deathstrike and the Reavers, Rachael forcing him to fight her constantly in her dreams, his crucifixion and torture at the hands of Pierce and the Reavers (53 issues later he was described as being a shallow husk of his formal self being kept alive because he was to stubborn to die), then the removal of his adamantium which bottomed out his healing factor before kicking it into overdrive. The first time Wolverine's healing factor wasn't in a rut and he had adamantium was when he became Death. Wolverine's healing factor wasn't written up, just in the last 8-9 years it hasn't been written down.
