Maybe that's the most visible but I think more and more people in general are beginning to understand what racism really is. It's pathetic. I'm white and was raised by a single mom for a good portion of my childhood. After my parent's divorce my mom eventually started dating a black man. I got to see racism from both sides there. It was what eventually broke up that relationship.

I thinks its funny/odd that in the US in 2007 its socially acceptable (and sometimes encouraged) to make fun of Jews, Asians and gay people, but if you make just one little black joke (even if its not that bad), Al Sharpton wont leave you alone for three weeks and every single Black group in the nation will be marching and demanding a boycott of you.

Racist aint only whites, nor are they the ones who produce the most racism. It's just the past that makes it seem that way. I was watching the Carlos Mencia show one day and there were white people truly thinking they owed black people something and even felt guilty, even though they weren't born in those times. The past effects in many ways.
