if you get a 77 corvette that's completely stock, make sure to get the engine re-tuned and have the stock catalytic converter replaced with a high-performance one. The late 70's were bad times for the V8 in any vehicle with all the emissions stuff happening. How bad? Ex. My old Mazda Protege beat a stock late 70's stingray. I felt horrible afterwards.
