If you aren't sure of what you're saying, then you need not argue. The whole world knows they're tombs. But they were absolutely religious.

No, they really weren't. They were tombs for their pharoahs. They were not used as focal points for any religious activity.

You needn't explain them to me. No one said they were temples. I said they were religious.

No they weren't, they were however the burial tombs for the leaders of Egypt who were believed to be the family of gods, so undeniable tied to religion. Of course they weren't churches or things like that, but something doesn't need to be a church to be a religious building.

The Egyptians were all about their religion. The Pharaohs were even considered gods, or descended from them.

indeed. the pyramids are religious symbols.

And again, a religious symbol is a focal point for your religion; the Pyramids are not so.

The pyramids are representative of two things. The mound of earth from which the sun god was born, and the rays of light that reach down from the sky and bring life to all things.

That is religious. And religious sybolism on top of that.

those pictures are fantastic, each one of them. not sure if it was faith that inspired meer humans to create these heavenly adobes, but if thats the case, then maybe mythology should be part of the curriculum for Archietects.
