Should Marvel forget about the Sentry and work on Hyperion or Gladiator to become there Man of Steal?

Hyperion and Gladiator have great potentail to beoceme the Superman of Marvel, what do you guys think?

Why? What's wrong with Sentry?

That is an INSULT to Miracleman.

I didn't say Sentry was better; his origin is just similar.

I think Sentry has a great deal of untapped potential. He just needs a writer that will stop putting him on the back-burner.

Sentry isn't even really focused on in Marvel anymore...

Hyperion and Gladiator have had YEARS to be built up as Marvel's Superman, but they haven't gotten anywhere. I think its time to give Sentry his shot...and for the most part, he's doing well so far. But like others have said, he needs to be given more than just a few cameo appearances of running in and taking care of some villain.

Hyperion only works in his own dimension, not in Earth-616. Gladiator doesn't belong outside his duty to the Shi'ar; why would he adventure on Earth?

What a stuppid thread, both of Sentrys min series have been excellent.
He's a littl like Miracleman in that he had a false origin and had forgotten who he was. All deconstructionist comis of that type bow to Moore though.
