Link Abbreviation/Breaking...???

i cant stand how when you post a link with a long url its automatically abbreviated (dice it in half, delete center of text body and fill with "..." and thus turns into a bad link.

is there a way to fix this?

i know that abbreviation is not supposed to affect the actual link, but often times it does.

Use tinyurl if it bothers you that much..?

i see this problem alot when people make threads and nodody can use the link to the topic. its not about what "bothers" me.

still its a general pain in the ass for forum goers.

Yeah, kind of.

Especially when some newb comes on with a link you're interested in and messes it up.
