He has been killed in a badly written story, 99% of his apperances state he is immortal and can't be killed. Even in his most recent appearance that state it and show he gets his heart cut out he still lived from it.

Nope the being, that's the curse. Even mentioned a few times in the comic, but he was killed by Sabertooth which doesn't quite work as even Wolverine struggled to cut him with adamintium but Sabertooth did it like butter.

Mavaus did it by cutting off the connection with the Gods of the Artic weakening him, and "killed" him by removing his heart which Wendigo showed in his recent apperance doesn't work.
