That is a lie that was told to you. The universe is far older then 6,000 years. The bible is just stories told by humans about things that are important to humans. The bible has nothing to do with the beginning of the universe.

I thought you believed that truth was relative?

The Bible has been confirmed by Stephen Hawking. God created the universe out of nothing.

The universe cannot be made from nothing, because nothingness cannot exist.

Do you believe that the universe is 13.5 billion years old?

Bwahaha! Believe what you want, but you do know that Hawking himself would tell you this is false, right?

What if I said that is true for you but not for me?

That would be insane, because that would mean you and I live in different universes. If that was the case, we would not be able to communicate.

Not necessarily. Maybe you're wrong. Besides your statement that:

Is an absolute statement. But in another post you stated:

...I believe that Relativity is how the universe works....

If Relativity is how the universe works then what is true for you is not necessarily true for me.

You cannot have it both ways. You cannot say that something is relative in one breath and then say it is absolute in another breath because that would truly be insane.

Besides, the mind can be just as relative as the universe in terms of perception or how it works just like the universe.

That is a very week stance.

No it is not. Again you are getting confused by the illusion of absolutes caused by the limitations of our mind.

That is not how Relativity works. There is a relationship between how I see an event and how you see an event. An example would be both of us standing next to each other and looking at a rainbow. If we both tried to pinpoint were the “pot of gold” is, from were we are standing, we would not agree. The way a rainbow is placed in the sky is dependant on the angle of light as it hits the eye of the observer. We both see a rainbow, but they are not the same.

First off I never said anything was absolute. You are simply confused by the illusion of absolutes caused by the limitations of our mind.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

I think he's referring to the universe and entropy (from low to high). The mind processes in the same function. JIA be more specific.

If Relativity is how the universe works then what is true for you is not necessarily true for me.

This is false.

actually, you have it reversed, the universe is not relative, however we are only able to perceive it through relative mechanisms.

If I wanted to see a YouTube video, I would got to YouTube. Next time please explain the relevance of a video before giving a link. A video should be in support of a point and not the point its self.

You are off topic on your own thread. Is that an indication that the thread should be closed?

The Pepsi challenge is all psychological. People prefer the color blue and would tend to prefer the liquid in the blue color cup. And this is only if the individual is not familiar with distinguishing the tastes of pepsi and coke.

But it's magic to JIA.
