Yeah, I said the tumbler should stay the same, what of it?

IA (can't believe it. We're agreeing some more 😂 ) Batman needs to evolve. Batmobile that he has is sufficient now, but it really doesn't make a statement IMO like it SHOULD. A taste for the theatrical, remember?

yeah thats WHY the batmobile needs to change.Like batman himself is doing in the movies, the batmobile needs to evolve as well just like it did in the comics going from an unimpressive looking machine to a real WOW kind of machine.you look at the tumbler and you say-what the hell? a tank!!! I want the old batmobile back from batman 89.

The Batmobile doesn't change, it has stayed the same. I've seen all the TDK pictures and the Batmobile looks exactly the same. Besides according to BOF, the Batmobile gets destroyed and out comes the Batcycle or Batpod as its being called.

The Batmobile should be much sleeker looking than the Tumbler in the 3rd movie... Something like this (but without the bat head in the front)

And the Joker (since this is a Joker thread) should evolve and "escalate"... I saw in one picture that his face was considerably whiter and looked smoother than in all the other pictures (could be just that the make-up is freshly applied, but hey) I still think that he might get a face full of chemicals while his paint is on, sticking his make-up to his face permanently... But if it doesn't happen, it won't bother me...

Thats nice , but Nolan will probably stay with the design he already has.

It should evolve but still resemble how it was in the first film. And I don't mind him using the Batpod for this film, it looks pretty cool.

I don't mind that batpod either. But the batmobile better change

Not that this conversation has ANYTHING to do with the Joker's look...

But...

I think the changing designs of vehicles and even costumes in the last Batman series were some of the worst parts. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel with each film. Costumes and vehicles can stay the same...and it will create some continuity.

When you start putting updates to vehicles and costumes above the quality of the story...something is pretty wrong with your outlook on these films. Makes me think some of you want Shumacher to direct the next film.

I agree with some of what you're saying.

I believe i read somewhere, that Ledgers insipiration for this Joker will be the Alex character, and his gang, from A Clockwork Orange. Which just screams sadistic. This movies gonna be somethin alright.

I read that also a while back. I really cannot wait until The Dark Knight comes out. I'm seeing this a lot.

I agree that they shouldn't update vehicles and costumes just for the sake of updating them, but if it has something to do with the story (I mean, apparently the Batmobile is gonna blow up, so he'll need a new, updated, faster, stronger one right?) then it's completely fine...

But anyway, the Joker... Remember that guy?

Exactly now that he has an excuse to change it he better get something better than the tumbler.

The reasons why the batmobile looks like the way it does in Batman begins is because they're using Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns work.

Im already having doubts about this movie. The joker looks like a wash up bonzo the clown! Bring back Mark Hamil!

I'm guessing you meant Bozo, and I don't see the connection.
