It's from the Guardians of the Galaxy timeline I believe... if that helps.
Yea, I'm just looking through them to get the exact issue,
I just found this recently while re-reading a bunch of gotg arcs.
It is an alternate reality ... but,
this reality is an alternate mirror universe of 616.
So while it is an alternate Glads & Wolvs,
they're exact copies of their 616 counter-parts (power-set wise)

Plus, I refuse to accept that Apoc can kill Mags...
Also, the basic premise of Wolverine standing up to Glads for more than a minute speaks for itself. 😬

Not exactly,
the Guardians Timeline is a Future of 616.
In fact,
by the 31st Century there's a different Watcher looking over Uatu's territory,
and we know Uatu was the Watcher of the 616 Reality.
That Watcher is Uilig, and he's the one telling us about Wolvy, Mags & Glads.
This is Uilig the last Watcher talking,
he's re-telling the events of 616 which lead to this Future Timeline of the GOTG:
........................................................................
So indeed,
when he's recounting the Mutants history,
he ends up with Wolverine and his lineage,
how they became a ruthless line of Wolverines by the 31st Century:

Most What If's go goofy once they diverge.

They killed each other.

AoA? Yes.
What Ifs? No.

Yes, I know it's supposed to be the future... but the future changes.
I agree, still though, the event is legit and is based on 616 Wolvs & Glads.

I agree,
although from my experience with them (and I have em all)
Most go goofy real quick.

Be careful bub ... snik snik ... fanboys will be hurt. oooh
Originally posted by Mr MasterWell, What-Ifs supposedly tell what would happen...
AoA? Yes.What Ifs? No.
Plus, as far as I'm concerned, the only difference between What-Ifs and story arcs with alternate realities, is that What-Ifs are one issue. 😬
Originally posted by Mr MasterIsn't it the idea that it's an alternate reality, that sort of rules it out though?
