The universe is the embodiement of existence itself. It exists in pure nothingness, but that nothingness can never be reached, as the universe will expand in the form of a circle, as the mass reaches the outher parts.
So yes. only matter, what the universe is made off, dont affect it.

You say nothing exists, but if it exist then it is not nothing, then nothing is something.. Which removes the entire meaning of the word nothing, because it exists and therefore is something..

a word is a way to express what we mean.
look, the -s are nothingness, the os are existence

as you reaches the outside of the Os, it will expand to fit. the -s demonstrates nonexistence. as you cant go pass the line of the universe... there exists nothing beyond. the existence itself expands upon entering the outside to fit and keep balance between existence and nonexistence.
