Anakin Skywalker ep 2 vs darth Maul

This takes place on kamino landing platforms lightsbaer and force powers are allowed and also hand to hand

Maul takes this fght. TPM Jinn and Kenobi were a powerful combo, seeing Jinn was one of the most respected and powerful Jedi Masters and Kenobi being an above-average Padawan, and Maul was still able to take them both, plus, I doub't AotC Skywalker is able to take TPm Jinn and Kenobi and survive. Besides, he's still being impulsive and is unexperienced, unlike Maul, and it won't be easy for Anakin to deal with Maul's double-bladed saber.

Yup, and to add to this, Maul wasn't at his full strength when he took on that duo, plus he bested Anoon Bondara, who is stated the be the finest swordsman in the order and one of the most powerful warriors, and he beat all of Black Sun at once.

Funny, I say Anakin has a good if not great chance of beating Maul. He stood toe to toe with Dooku for a time and did far better then Obi-Wan did in AOTC. Its not 100% victory for Anakin by any means, but he has a good shot.

I am with maul. I doubt anakin was stronger then qui-gon during TPM and even then he was beat by maul, who was a superior duelist.

you have got to go with Maul, but AOTC Anakin could give him a very good fight, and would require all of Maul's skills to beat him. Maul is proably a level 8 swordsman while Anakin is a 7.
