Ironically, I found a better looking hand that WAS made out of old typewriter parts.

I bet SHEILD had a high tech robotic hand all ready for him but some joker was like "Lets pull his leg a bit with that stupid proto-type gun hand Bill made!"... only when Blade saw the gun hand he was all like "Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!" and he booked it before they could take the retard gunhand away from him and incinerate it.
