As to the fight...mephisto makes everyone forget that Darkseid has gotten owned by top tier threats left and right in the past in return for the anti-life equation, the omega effect, and Darkseid's genetalia.

Darkseid insisted on that last bit of the contract.

Who was talking about Thanos. Thanos didnt lose to drax straight up anyways. Sg wasnt canon and it happened off panel if you think it is. Supes however is a physical rival of Ds which Ds himself stated. They are so canon its kinda funny. Why else would he need his omega powers back if Supes drilling his as never happened.

it's agaisnt DS's character to lose to a top tier like superman, DS is approaching abstract level so it would be like LT being pwned by Captain America. Or I could also accept that DC is trying to say Spes is appraoching high skyfather level which would make more sense.

Name one other skyfather that can control a being like a Promethean Giant. Name one skyfather that can kill a being comparable to Galactus, but wouldn't due to the father son relationship. Name One skyfather who created MULTIPLE realities and pwned entire pantheons. Name a skyfather who by removing himself from time, can collapse ALL of reality. Once you finish naming ONE skyfather who can do all of that, then I'll add some more that you can try and name.

The only time I recall Surfer defeating Mephisto was in a What If issue... using the Infinity Gauntlet.

I'm almost sure it was an arc that had Warlock in it. can't remember tho. But Mephisto got all huffy at something and turned into a creature with a long tongue. Surfer pretty much paid him no attention as if he wasn't even a threat.
