Can't really see Annihilus doing anything to hurt Thanos though, while at worst Thanos will think of the same strategy Nova used.

What he did to Quasar was pretty baddass.

I think his outer shell + shields amped by the quantum bands can stand up to direct attacks from Thanos for awhile.. I'm just not sure Annihilus will do more than annoy him with his attacks.

Thanos has the weight of history on his side here, as opposed to Annihilus only having Annihilation, and really nothing on the level of Thanos's high end feats.
