did anyone else notice:

you know Pintel says 'Hey! We can still use 'em as clubs!" refering to the pistols.

then later, when Jack is swinging on the rope in the huge battle towards the end, he says "Oi! My pistol!" and then bangs the Dutchman crewmember in the head...you learn from Pintel...
