got my new graphics card, radeon 9600 pro, sadly i will need to build a new computer soon, no more buyin brand names for me, they suck for gaming. im prepared to spend 800 bucks on my new computer when i need one. and hopefully it will last a while.

oh, i also got the new gameboy advance sp today. and the new castlevania game for it, great game, good system, looks liek theres some damn good games for it. highly reccomended.

My youngest brother (not Rex) has the SP. He's been playing it non-stop with his Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire games. It's a nightmare.

I think he finally wore the thing out. It's glitching on him and he can't play it. Now he's using the original GBA again. 🙄

teh one i got is very good, its not the best, but if you dont have a really high end computer its the one to get. since all the other ones that are better or as good require a connection to your power supply. and if you have an older computer you're power supply probably wont emmit enough power to support it. radeon 9600 if you have an older computer.... or if you have a computer that can support it, radeon 9800 or 9700, those are the 2 best.

I haven't upgraded any drivers/components on my computer ever. Its from 1999. Oh well, it still works.🤪

I rely on Gamecube for my playing needs.
Hopefully the next SimCity will make it to that console. It freezes like crazy on my computer.🙁

no, xp has nothing to do with it, i mean the power supply in your computer, you need at least a 350 watt power supply. or else if you connect a 9700 or 9800 to it, it may not boot up at all. bottom line, if you have a power supply of under a 300 watt, get a 9600 pro, if you have a 350 or higher, get a 9800 or 9700....and as far as money goes....graphics cards are not cheap.... the 9600 is around 200 or so... and the 9700 is 300, and the 9800 is 400... if you want a good cheap one for around 100 bucks, geforce fx 5200 is decent for its price, but dont expect great framerates.

tex thats cool, but theres some BIG games coming out for pc only that i think everyone wants to play, of course im reffering to halfe life 2 and doom 3. im upgrading my whole computer just for those 2 games basically.

After watching the videos I have to change my mind.
It's about 15% less crisp than Resident Evil Zero.
The environment is flawless, but the actual moving characters are edgy. I think its graphics are on equal par with the recent JamesBond: Nightfire.

Graphics are still amazing though. The speed and action far surpass anything Resident Evil/Zero could muster up. Considering that RE was 3rd person with minimal action, the action in Doom3 with those graphics are absolutely amazing! WOW! I assume that Resident Evil 4, being of a first person perspective will probably be very similar, graphics wise, to Doom III. It looks like a bunch of fun.🙂
