will there be more new gods deaths in the future?

Is Darkseid behind this?

How will Orion handle the death of his best friend?

We could've also probably talked about this in the Countdown thread, but it's cool.

Darkseid would be the obvious choice, but Supes wasn't sure if the guy who did it went into a boomtube or not so it might be someone else.

Doomsday did it.

They're gonna start writing him right and making him a prominent character again!

Lightray was presume dead after his brutal battle with Kalibak The Cruel. He always returns.

Whoever he fought must have follow the code. If the code was broken then by all means Orion is gonna go holocaust on whoever did it.

In Kirby's Fourth World there cannot be any outside interfence when gods fight one on one. Meaning that two combatants must face each other without help.

Very unlikely...Lightray is practically Orion's most trusted allied. Both fought the forces of Darkseid in the first invasion to earth in Metropolis.

If it was Orion then this is worse than when Superman fought Darkseid and won.
