Angels and Demons [RP]

Since ancient times there has been a barriage between what is to the mortal man known as 'Heaven' and 'Hell'. The two realms that dwell good and evil and with a ruler at each side. 'Satan', 'Lucifer', 'Beelzebub' or 'Azazel' is what most would call the evil ruler and then we have the ruler of good that go by the name of 'God'.

The source of the sundering of the barriage is unknown. What is known is that if the barriage is gone entirely, hell will be set loose on the middle stationed realm called 'Earth'. The barriage is broken in such a way that angels and demons can roam trough any of the three realms if they find a passage trough. As time move forth more and more glitches arrive and the passages increase in numbers. Once the barriage is broken entirely the ruler of evil is freed from 'Hell', the prison that have held him for so long.

With the words of God: Keepers of light unite! Fight the sundering and fight the demons back! Feast upon my wisdom!

With the words of Satan: The demon era is now! Roam the earth and free my imprisoned body! Engulf yourselves with my power!

-Rules-

One of the arch angels observed how another passage was torn open by the unknown force that was tearing the barriage into pieces. The barriage, the path and the only terrain that stood in the way from a free come and go for any who wish. Heaven was meant for three things from the beginning of time. God, angels and saints. Quickly she landed upon earth and became a stationed guard of the passage. For thousands of years angels and the barriage had been unknown to man. Now recently angels have start wandered earth along with demons. Most of mankind is afraid and unaware of what to do. Some humans try their hardest to fight the demons. Some out of fear fight for the demons against the angels. Some fight both sides, and some fight no side.

The barriage was located as an invisible force to any none-divine and none-demons and it was set all over what some would call the middle earth. It had been there since the beginning of man and has been there ever since. Just recently a disruption had been caused and in only a matter of time, if the mystery was not unfolded the barriage would break and demons would walk the earth.

As the barriage grow labile demons from hell have gained strength to roam the upper world. Some give attempts to charge and destroy remaining parts of the barriage, but so far have the forces of angels been able to push any attacks of. What has been show though is that as soon as one angel fall, the barriage grow weaker. The demons have a number of ways to destroy the barriage. The two current ones are to wait for time to take the cause, or take bravery to wander to the upper world and spill the blood of angels at the soil of mankind. What ever direction you turn to, a war is inevitable and the sole question remain. Will you choose wisdom...... or strength?

Fact 1: So far only pure angels can enter heaven.
Fact 2: Angels can enter hell, but the chance of corruption is huge.
Fact 3: A passage is invisible to any but demons and angels.
Fact 4: A passage is a hole in an invisible wall. Once the guardians of that hole is dead the process of the sundering is hastened and the passage grow larger.
Fact 5: A passage can only be shut by a ritual that only archangels and above ranked is capable of. A ritual that take days of constant speaking to preforme. If the archangel dies the ritual is cancelled and resetted.
Fact 6: Archangels possess immense powers and one demon is far from enough to fight them of. Archangels rarely enter middle earth or below unless the ritual is needed.
Fact 7: An archangel is removed from the title if entering hell. Hell is a sanctuary for demons.
Fact 8: SERAPHIM! The highest rank an angel can have. Heaven hold 5 Seraphims. A seraphim is THE most powerful angels of existance. They only enter combat in the most severe of situations. They are the messengers of God. Their word is the command of the angels.

A set of meloncholy grey eyes peered out from a wet mass of thick black hair. Through heavy torrents of rain one could make out the feminine figure that stood amidst the deep grey clouds and various flashes of lightning. Upon further examination her distinct features were noticable. She wore thin black robes, now soaked and plastered to her fair skin. Drops of water dripped steadily from her hair to her chest and shoulders, running down her calm face, their trails erased by the other drops that followed it.

Chade Taryvana lifted a hand, pushing her dripping, wavy black hair out of her face and off of her forhead. She gazed upward at the sky, her eyes flinching only once before getting used to the rain which pelted them. Chade's small underformed wings hung outstreched on her lean shoulder blades. For a momen she let her tongue gently take on the droplets that clung to her soft pink lips. She took a moment to really examine the sky here. It was a putrid color, one of darkness, and fear and depression. She half wondered why her home hadn't a sky like this, withsharp icy drops that stung the face when they came down. The hell she knew so well was much different than common expectation.

Hell, as it was commonly called, had order. Classification. She wa snot being punished. She was a high ranking demoness who took pride and satisfaction in what she did. She was rewarded with a room, elegant in it's victorian styles. It led out into a corridor where the other high ranked stayed. The uppermost level of what the human population looked at to be a terrible, sleazy place actually had quite nice furnishings in some areas. Of course..those of punishment...Chade grimaced, and then her mind returned to her own living quarters. The only thing different was that, it was true, Hell had no sky. Something Chade had always loved so dearly.

A sharp whinney distracted her from her mindset, and something of a smile crossed her face as the huge winged stallion, in all his elegance, approached her. His long jet black main hung low in his eyes, and he snorted annoyedly at the wetness falling upon him. Stomping his foot, he nudeged her body gently. She saw his gleaming white fangs in the corner of her eye, and lifted her hand to hold the equines large nose, which now rested on her shoulder.

" Alright Saphron. Lets go. "

She turned then.Away from the human world, away from the gate she craved to cross, to escape. These boundries where her torture. These invisible walls were her sin.

Vash had taken near a nearby lake, after several days of traveling from his refuge cave, who had become home for so many years for him. He smiled as he remembered the feeling he got when he exited it, as he saw the sky, the light, and the Nature. As he walked and flew the paths of Earth once again, he noticed yet again just how much it has changed. The passage grew weaker, and in his Angel side he felt it.

He did not know which side to choose. He left this choice to him once the first battle begins, for now he will enjoy himself. Vash had started to like humans, for their courage and bravery, they were neither as corrupted as Demons nor as Strict or Tradition-Like as teh Angels. It seemed reasonable to him that they walk the Earth instead of either Angels or Demons. What he feared was that they will be the one who will innocently die as the war begins.

Vash elegenatly took off his clothes, and entered the lake. He hadn't felt the touch of water for hundreds of years, and it rescusitated him. He slid his wings through the water, liking the feel of it. The wings were cleansed of all the dirt that was accumulated in the time being while he was in the cave, and they once again became snow-white.

The flames grew brighter inside the Belly of the Beast as more screams of anguish and pain escaped it. A well built figure clad in what appeared to be a set of armor made from the hardest metals, covered by the hides of great beasts and demons. The helmet, which stood out most of all, had the horns of a powerful demon put upon it. The shield was made of the same metal as the armor, but had a skull engraved in it. The boots had metal spikes, made from the bones of other demons. The one wearing this armor had slain many of these beasts and crafted a set of armor from them.

Abaddon gripped his shield tighter in his hand as the screams drifted into his head, like a song way out of tune. A fellow demon came up behind him. "General." Abaddon turned to face the demon. "What is it captain?"

"I've received word our scouts that the hole is growing slowly. In a matter of days we should be able to get through"

Abaddon shook his head. "That's too early. It will take longer than that before we can make our assault. The Warmarshal will not be pleased. You are dismissed, captain." The demon saluted and walked off from the direction it came. Abaddon turned away from the Belly of the Beast and made his way towards an immense building where the Warmarshall lived.

As Chade turned her back to the rain, the storms of turmoil looming outside, she bit her lip softly. A bitter reconoscnese struck at her heart, and it took alot of her strength to fight back at it. It wasn't that she missed her angelic lineage, The heirarchy was now diluted, but there was something else. Soemthing she couldn't put her finger on. She wanted it badly though. Some emotion of feeling that burned from the depths of her soul to her eyes, now pooling as the liquid she forced back into her self and would hesitate to let out at any time.

Another whineny, this one of concern, caught her off gaurd and she turned, smiling at the large animal. Saphron reared shortly, his feet barely lifting, and tossed his elegant head, his blood red eyes widening until one could see the whites that pooled around them. His main released multiple water dropleats, and his harness hung loosely around his large muzzle. Chade bowed her head slightly, and moved her hands around his face, forming a bridle and reins of darkness, which she took hold of to pull her self up onto his back. She closed her eyes as he nickered, reared again, and began running and simultainiously beat his large black wings.

As they lifted off, Chade allowed herself to relax. She heald tightly to the stallion's throughly muscled neck, and dug her fingers into his mane, weaving them in and out of the coarse black hairs. His mighty hooves pawed the air elegantly as he flew her back to the depths of the underworld and toward her home. Chade's eyes opened and she found herself perched atop her horses broad back on a cliff, hanging above a large crater like hole. She saw one of her huge, intimidating affiliates there.
Abaddon.
She nudged Saphron gently with her heels, and the two took off. He landed in an open corridor, where Chade jumped off, holding onto the stallions reins until she reached Abaddon, who was walking hurriedly toward the warmarshall's quarters.

" Sir..The western gates. Theyre greatly weakened. "

She spoke in a slightly hushed voice.

" though, I think we should hold off for now."

Vash walked out of the cool and silver escent water, refreshed and with a high morale. He looked up into the pitch dark sky, and saw as from the edge a silver light was beginning to rise up.

"The Moon"

he soflty muttered to himself and sighed. He had grown accustomed to turning into a werebeast at moon, for if he let his training go, then one day he might be unable to control his form. Vash felt his lungs suffocating when his eyes caught just a small piece of the moon. Haibitual to such transformations, he neither panted or cried in pain, but stood there. He felt his muscles begin to rip apart, he felt his jaw and nose and jaw split apart as they stretched out. He felt hair growing all around his body, he felt his nails turn into claws and his feet muscle grow largely. He felt his wings inverse and grow backward into his back bone. In about 10 seconds, there near the lake stood a werewolf.

Vash grunted as he looked at himself through the lake. Throughout the years of seeing himself as a werebeast, Vash had began to like this form. It looked powerful, dreadful, mighty, potent.

Vash looked up at the moon, and felt how he drained the power in the moon for his own powers. There was a thought of wilderness in his mind, of bloodshed and anger, but Vash put that thought aside and influenced his own transformation. Vash sat down near his camp were he put a fire and laughed out load as he enjoyed this feeling of power. His laugh, however, was hoarse and very different from the laugh of an ordinary person.

Tzeentch's heavy boots did not seem to crush the grass below him. Nor the clinking of his sheath against his armor disturb the surrounding animals. He seemed to carry a breeze about him, that when he walked near a patch of dandelions their stalks bent and their seeds where scattered into the wind. He was not invisible per say, but he despised the human race and worshiped the world they lived on. His dilemma was two fold: Protect his beloved at the expense of both his identity and what he loved most, or passively protect her against man's cruel and hypocrite character. For the sake of better results he choose the latter.

Tzeentch never took preference to either animal or plants, but he was beginning to form a fondness for the oak before him and the lone eagle that lived there. So much so that both the eagle and the tree seemed to know that he was there. The eagle flew down and perched himself on Tzeentch's shoulder pecking at the helmet and cleaning it's own wings. The tree itself, although very subtlety, bent to acknowledge Tzeentch's presence. Tzeentch's gauntlet firmly patted the tree's trunk and the tree returned to it's normal stature.

"Come Ayros", Tzeentch addressing his golden eagle, "Search for me angels and demons who tempt the world to abuse the weak and the mute, the fragile and delicate, the green and blue alike." With a screech the eagle took flight.

hiding in the shadows trying to congure up her human form as so no human would be frightened of her Twilight emerged from the shadows minutes later. She knew of the passages and how only pure demons or pure angels could go through them. She was glad she was part angel or she wouldn't be able to stand the day light. many angels and demons walked the earth as if it was nothing. Twilight was going to help the angels pure angel or not. she knew of her brother De'Angelo who was half demon. He was the one who'd killed their father and she wasn't going to blame him.

De'Angelo despised Twilight. No matter how hard he tried she just wouldn't die. It must be because she's part angel,He thought. He had planned this out perfectly. When she joined the angels in this war he would join the demons and kill her once and for all. for now he'd just have to deal with her until the time comes.

With the belief to one day obtain the right to alive enter Hell and serve Satan by his own words, Leo and Zuke dashed across the field. Behind the fast, strong lion flames was created and a trail of fire that showed the path that they had ran. At the other side of a field, an angel had fallen from a battle above. As the angel rose, he was met by the blade of Zuke and got decapitated in a matter of seconds. Leaping of his lion, Zuke landed in the middle of a village holding his shield and sword up high. Leo dashed trough the village and was met by aggressive resistance. Attacking one of the armed peasants, Leo tore his throat out. Zuke too was attacked by a number of peasants that disapproved what he did. Without any trouble he fought of the peasants.

Asmodeus had a voidlike shadow rippling around him, a lot like smoke vapours pouring from his body only more like liquid rather than smoke, a tar like substance , his Dark feathered wings impressively spread out as he knelt on the burning dry soil beneath his feet, a pair of seemingly humanoid hands, demonic runic obsidian plates covering parts of the fingers and most of the top of the hand as well as each knuckle bearing a large ring engraved with a pentagram holding a central spike, the ends of the fingers of the left hand were touching the right as they rested gently atop the hilt of a truly ancient blade. Astranoth, the enshrouded of light it was named, created in the pits of hell, baptised in the blood of thousands of angels, the tears of dying children as well as born witness to a billion cries of scorn and blasphemy to the lord God it was a blade Asmodeous had become worthy of in the eyes of Satan.

He still knelt his fingers on the hilt of Astranoth, the countless Demons in the legions behind him were prepared, their endless tormented voices, all crying out for war, and he would bring them to it in due course, but to him they were silent, the only sound he could hear was the sound within him, he was using his power to look out through the barriage to the Earth and he could hear, taste and feel every scream of pain, he was enjoying himself, blood dripping from his white pupiless eyes across his pale face, it would almost fool those without knowledge of him that he himself was an Angel if it was not for the dark armour, the crown of thorns around his black cloak like shroud over his head or the demonic sword that he held. The Screams of mothers as with but a whim he turned births still, the cries of the victims of disease as he increased their agony and added to their symptoms, his heart reveled in it, the Demons in the first hundred rows could feel his evil and endless sin and they themselves quivered in fear.

A smile spread across Asmodeous' face, the voices of the demons were suddenly felt and he rose up from his position, he whispered, a dark voiced left his mouth, the whisper was somehow heard by every demon among his legions, even those that were not currently in the legion behind him that he meant to bring to war, "we will bring torment to the just, we will take the Earth as our own and i will strike the blow of apocalypse, our lord shall have the heavens....and the Earth...my throne", an uproar once again of thousands of voices arose as Asmodeous began to step through into the mortal plane to make preparations for the coming of his army, there was not a large enough gap for so many demons to cross the barriage and so Asmodeous planned to make one

Tzeentch's eagle caught sight of a ripple and then the movement of a black speck. Moments later, a seemingly endless wave of demons followed this one shadow of darkness. Through the observance of the eagle, Tzeentch was able to see the phenomena that moved before him. With the eagle's cry, Tzeentch spread his wings and took flight. He became encompassed by a swarm of bats, that systematically flew in patterns spiraling to his body. To the naked and ignorant eye it looked like the sky was tearing by the seams. It has begun Tzeentch thought to himself. It was not long before he too was flying before the numberless legion. Upon dissent the horde of bats scattered like a black glass having been hurled to the earth. A few meters off, Tzeentch could see this ghastly monstrosity, and for the first time in millennia began to feel the anticipation of the end. He drew his sword and let it hang from his arm as he waited for the demon to catch sight of him and call his name.

(hmm sorry was this meant for me?, if so ime alone, my legions cannot quite entirely get through this same hole that i passed through 🙂 )

Asmodeus good feel the change in the world as he stepped through the passageways, the Earth was far from simply a new world to Asmodeus, it was an entirely new exsistence, a lesser demon may have been shattered and sent back into hell due to the barriers not being quite ready for an army to come through yet, however Asmodeus was no mere grunt or lost soul. He knelt and with a finger he lent down and passed it through the soil and grass, grass which he made burn for he hated it, it was a sign of life on the Earth which he would do all in his power to wipe out.

Asmodeus could see a disturbance in the air, focusing he could see an angelic figuire, clenching his fists his white eyes burst into a green fire and then settled with supernatural smoke passing through the sockets, he gripped his sword, "hmm fortunate that a being of justice cometh onto the tainted Earth, the Earth is ours Faithful one", he projected his voice at the angelic figuire, dark smoke poured from his mouth as he said the words justice and Faithful.

(My sincerest apologies for the misinterpretation, but yes it was for you.)

Tzeentch quivered at the sound of the voice that projected itself so far with little ease. "It is as much yours as it is the humans who so rudely dominate what should be theirs to share. Harken to me, for I am not one to repeat myself, demon: Destroy what you may but touch not what is mine. What human bodies you kill, leave them. What blood of their you spill, leave it drenching the ground. But whatever angels and demons that fall at you hands, take them far from this realm. You desecrate this earth with your vile presence, do not insult it with your fallen warriors." Tzeentch brought the sword and stabbed the ground in front of him, resting his two very large gauntlets upon the hilt, waiting for the demon to respond.

Abaddon stopped and stared at Chade. It was surprising to see someone who used to be an angel in the underworld, now working as a demon under his army. "Yes, Chade. I understand that now from one of our captains. How the warmarshall ever made that useless weakling a captain I will never know. I need to find the warmarshall and tell him of our accomplishment."

At the same time, Abaddon walked again, but slowly this time. "Do you miss being up there, Chade? Away from the demon world? When I was alive, I followed many sins, and ended up here when I died. I've never known what it was like..to be up there with God. Tell me. What is it like? What is there to see and do?"

walking the streets Twilight could see the monstrosity they called Asmodeus. 'The apple of Satan's eye.' Twilight thought. she kept walking not helping anyone for she was not pure angel and would not help the angels until the war had gotten worse. She saw an angel that God called Tzeentch. God's purpose for him wasn't all too clear. She knew God wanted Tzeentch to fight the demons but that was all Twilight could see. Twilight planned to talk to God about her joining the angels but now she knew why her mother had left her with her father. Vampires are blood sucking demons and that makes Twilight a half demon and a half angel. She didn't care if she was half demon she'd help the angels no matter what.

Asmodeus smiled, "humans...so easily broken...your false Gods world he created and its people will feel the flames, join me, Angel....your so called lord pushed us aside and wanted US to kneel to THEM, we must take it from him...may he learn we shal not be tossed aside for mortal filth", he rose a little and then spread his wings, his eyes once again intensifying with the supernatural smoke drifting from them his smile went straight and his mouth showed no emotion, only his eyes "or is your mind washed away, clouded by the lies of the creator...are you his puppet, if so then it is a shame....you will be thrown into torment for going against Satans will as this world burns".

"You misunderstand me, demon" Tzeentch replied curlty, "I neither serve God nor Satan. An exile angel if you will. My care and only concern be that of this world. For humans are not of this world. Slay all who you encounter, spare what is not human." Tzeentch drew his sword from the earth and pointed it towards the demon before him, "You are not in hell anymore demon. Be sure not to cross the god of this sanctuary." Sheathing his sword he spread his wings and took flight, the swarm of bats encircling him as he disappeared into the distance.

Asmodeus sneered hmm an Angel who does does not serve God, interesting, his eyes turned back to a plain white without pupils, he turned and let out a sigh and knelt to the ground, gripping a large clump of earth in his hand, whispering demonic words the soil started to burn and then took flight, creating a pentagram in the air before the barrier, it floated for a while before he sent his sword through its center, the pentagrams flames burst through the sword and turned into dark vapours that blasted forth like a beam through the sword into the barrier, slowly energies from the barrier drained into the blade and Asmodeus' eyes now Satan...gorge yourself on this world...through this gap the souls of so many mortals will not be judged and will be swallowed straight into hell, that shall trouble your enemy and my armies shall come forth.

Vash looked up at the disturbence of the sky he saw, to a normal human it might look like just a flock of birds. To him, especially in his werebeast form, he knew it was some act of magic. Intersting... thought Vash as he saw what was happening around the sky. Then everything seemed to calm down, but after what seemed to be a few minutes, something else raised up from the ground. After that, Vash felt a piercing sensation.

A sensation that only comes when the barrier is weakened greatly by a single strike. Vash bent his eyebrows in thought, trying to understand what was happening. Is the barrier going to collapse so fast? Either way, he must try to keep it alive for as long as he can.

With that, Vash turned back into his Angel form, and after putting on his white robes and making sure his gigantic broadsword was sheated on his back, he flew up into the air, and with each stride of his wing he flew up faster and faster.

After briefing Abaddon, Chade had turned abruptly, whisking herself off. She walked in the direction opposite the Warmarshall's. And Idea had formed in her ever functioning mind. An abstract daze crossed her face as she considered the mechanics, but eventually she decided it was a do or die sort of happening, and that all she could do was try. She met Saphron as she walked on, and took his shadow crafted reins. He snorted a bit nervously. Chade raised a gentle hand and pressed it against his pitch black nose. She looked him right in the crimson, defiant eyes and told him things would be ok. She wasn't quite sure of this however.

Mounting the steed, and patted his large muscles neck and spoke softly to him , instructing him exactly where to go. Hesitantly he took a step backward, then tossed his large head and began to gallop across the narrow path hey followed. His hooves slammed the ground at an even , consistent rate, and his mane billowed as her ran. Chade was caught with an exhilarating rush as a cliff cam into view. She and her mount soared off, dipping for only a short moment before he spread his magnificent wings and took flight. He snorted happily, as he cantered on the air his wings beating with a uniform rhythm.

Finally the two arrived. The space looked like a small Field of grey. Hard stone surrounded by a heavy nothingness was that pathway. Chade approached the area. Once more, as she stepped in, the rain began to pour down. This time she continued on, her eyes dead set on the space before her. In the back of her mind she heard Saphron's loud warning bellow. In a few more seconds she heard the sound of panicked hoofbeats, stepping to and fro indecisively. When she finally heard them coming toward her, it was too late.

Chade felt herself being pulled at high speeds in, it seemed, every direction. She felt hot and cold simultaneously. Her body seemed to be tearing itself inside out, and a light-much too bright- shone down , blinding her momentarily. Then it all stopped. she felt calm, peaceful, at ease. Her mind fell into a sleeping state, and her body went with it.

At the gates, Saphron pawed, whinnying loud, shrill calls, pawing the ground and snorting in evident fear. Chades body was no where to be seen in the gates of hell. However, just outside, where earth lay and humans lived, a small pendant glowed on the ground. It was blood red, and had a milky white sheen to it. It hung on a shining silver chain. Chade was trapped here. Her mind, body and soul hung in a coma like state on this pendant in the human world.
