I'll go on the record and say I hate Broly. He is a worthless character in movies that make little to no sense. His very premise makes no sense. A person cannot be THE Legendary Super Saiyan, it doesn't even make grammatical sense lol. Broly (like the other Super Saiyans) can be a 'Super Saiyan of Legend' but to be THE Legendary Super Saiyan is impossible as it would require Broly to be himself as well as the original Legendary Super Saiyan whom the legend started with. Basically, the legend didn't start with Broly it started with an unknown Super Saiyan that lived thousands of years before the events of DBZ and Broly himself. One cannot be THE Legendary Super Saiyan unless it is referring to the Super Saiyan who lived thousands of years ago, HE is THE Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly, logically cannot be. What I'm trying to say is even the premise that Broly is based on is a stupid one because it defies simple logic and common sense. The only worthwhile movie character who SOMEWHAT makes sense was Cooler (and not meta Cooler, just regular). As such movie #5 is, IMO, the best DBZ movie and Cooler is the best DBZ movie villain. Broly on the other hand is a stupid character in just about every way possible. The same could be said of most of the GT characters, and even some canon characters as well but what I dont understand is why everyone loves Broly so much. It really makes no sense to me. I mean Broly is about as "interesting" and useless as Maron was in the anime.

To say Cooler is the best movie villain is about the dumbest statement ever. It doesn't even take place in a believable time line. Broly is better, end of story.
Oh yea? And the first Broly movie does? When does it happen? Gohan is a Super Saiyan so....where? In the magical time where Cell doesn't exist and everyone is hunky-dorey? Broly's appearance makes far less sense then Coolers. Cooler could have appeared in the 3 years between Trunks's appearance and the Androids when we dont see a great deal of what happens. When could Broly? When everyone is training in the hyperbolic time chamber? Oh yea that makes perfect sense. Go ahead, try to give me a time line. I assure you Brolys story literally could not happen, its impossible in the canon storyline, there is no time it could have taken place.
Broly is a cardboard character, with no personality, who's premise not only makes no sense both grammatically and logically but the time of his appearance is even more ridiculous.
Cooler's second appearance could have but what about his first? I mean his first appearance Gokou can't even go Super Saiyan again and he's on Earth. When he first gets back to Earth he's able to go super saiyan. Then of course his second appearance has Vegeta going super saiyan which would also contradict the actual storyline as nobody knows Vegeta can go super saiyan until he beats 19. It has a timeline it could take place in but it still doesn't fit. It makes as much sense as Broli taking place during the week or so they have to train for the Cell games. The only movie that could actually take place would be 9 and that's pushing it since Trunks is still around. 10 could but it would also have a short span to act in because it would be before the tournament but after Videl learns to fly. 11, 12, and 13 could just take place after the Buu saga but before the end which is easy to place them.
There's no time in which Cooler's movie could take place either. By the time Goku got to Earth not only had Goku already knew how to become a Super Saiyan without being angered but he had stopped using Kaioken & on top of that, everyone was training for the arrival of the androids. "Bojack Unbound", "Wrath of the Dragon" & "Broly: Second Coming" are the only movies that could take place in the actual timeline.
Dunno if you guys stumbled on these yet since they were posted later on...

Broly is not even the true LSSJ, by right Goku is the true LSSJ. Well, canon wise anyway.
Actually no one is THE legendary Super Saiyan except the Super Saiyan who lived thousands of years before the events of DBZ. THE legendary Super Saiyan can only be the Saiyan on who the legend was based on. No one, Broly included, can be the legendary Super Saiyan. Hence why the very premise that Broly is based on is stupid and only adds to the idiocy of his character. Broly cannot be THE legendary Super Saiyan unless he was the Saiyan on whom the legend was based on. He isn't, because its impossible, so him being the legendary Super Saiyan is pure stupidity in the first place because there is only one legendary Super Saiyan and he died thousands of years before DBZ began. All the subsequent Super Saiyans after the legendary Super Saiyan are just Super Saiyans. Its impossible for them to be legendary because the very meaning of legendary makes it impossible. This is why Broly is such a stupid character, the premise of the legendary Super Saiyan being alive makes no sense whatsoever.
