I'm getting it on the Wii obviously. I don't own a PS2 and even if I did I wouldn't get it due to its lack of online and all the other features. I'm assuming that the Wii version is the version that runs in 16x9 as well, which I need to have. Plus I mastered the Wii controls for BT2 and they are just as fast as the standard controller once you really get a handle on it (plus you can use the classic controller on the Wii anyways). So I see no downside to the Wii version, the PS2 is the handicapped version.

so... waving your arms around in a special way in order to start the move is just as fast as pressing 2 buttons together?... I dont think so
(though it technically doesnt matter since theres no cross-platform play.. so its about preference)
graphical handicap? of course...ps2 wouldnt know anti-aliasing if it got smacked in the mouth
as for online play.. you know all the 12 year olds are gonna pick SSJ4 Gogeta and rape everyone.. so I'd much rather play with friends

Trust me, it is as fast. I easily beat lots of friends who used the Classic controller who owned the game themselves. It just takes getting used to.
Meh, SSJ4 Gogeta is easily beatable. I still would rather have online pay then not.

The only feature it lacks is online...
Both are the same, really, except one has online and the other has "Disc Fusion"...
taken from wiki :
480p is not high enough to qualify as HDTV; it is considered Enhanced-definition television (EDTV)
also.. most of my ps2 games have no problem formatting to fit my 16:9 52" LCD TV
however (in regards to PS2's 480p / 16:9)... it depends on the game, not the system, as seen here :
http://www.hdtvarcade.com/hdtvforum/index.php?autocom=custom&page=ps2ab
Its a huge difference if it doesn't fit on my TV screen and looks like sh!t because its not in progressive scan. The difference between 480i and 480p is very large on an HDTV, its not really noticeable on an SDTV but its completely necessary on an HDTV or the game will look horrendous. As for the PS2 I only wanted to know if it supported it or not.
I havent checked out story mode yet..
heres Piccolo / Goku vs Radditz battle :
goku vs freeza (after he goes ssj)
