Can any MUTANT beat Superman????

One thing that I love about the superman arguments is that the only attack he really has is the speedblitz to get him buy most opponents.

I think that is a weak argument, but there are tons of guys out there that hasn't shown the speed of superman, that could kick the living crap out of him.

I think when Apoc if not jobbing (Cartoon Apoc) could take on superman with no problem.

Lobo takes on superman all the time, and Lobo is not fast a superman.
So the whole speed issue will not work on everyone.

For one, I think that Apoc is strong enough to shut down superman's mind. Also, Apoc is a near genius. He could scan superman's mind, and find out that superman has a true love for humans.

If that is the case. Apoc could grow to become 1000 feet tall, then turn his fist into a large weapon. He could than put other human beings in danger, which superman would have to focus on fighting apoc and saving human beings at the same time.

Superman's weakness for the love of human beings, any smart villian mutant could exploit this weekness, and beat superman no problem.

Also, it states that Apoc can increase his physical strength at will to a level that is not calculated. It pretty much states this on Marvel's website.

Now, I know they might not show him using those powers to the full extent in the comics, but they do state this on his bio.

It also says that Apoc "has exhibited energy absorbing and projecting abilities in the past"

He might be able to just absorb superman's heat vision.
Especially since his armor is something he got from the celestials.

So yes, I think some of the more sadistic bad guys like Apoc could win. They would just have superman save humans as well fighting at the same time.

So, if I am apoc, I would blow up the supports under a building to give superman something else to concentrate on besides me.

While he is to busy saving everyone else. This would buy me time to keep scanning his mind, and allowing me to learn more and more about his past fights and experiences.

Once I have learned what I needed to learn about superman.
I would than leave the fight, then find out what are the chemical components of "Krptonite".

Since apoc, is genius in genetics and biology.
I am sure he could construct a verison of kryptnite to come back and fight superman one on one.

In fact, since Apoc can control 100% of his molecular structure, he might be able to turn himself into Kyptonite.

So go ahead superman, speed blitz me all you want.

Like I said, evil mutants like Apoc that has some smarts to themselves, if written correctly, can take out superman without it sounding like PIS.

What I stated above is not far fetched at all.
Those abilities are right into Apoc's range.

Why is it that no Omega mutants can be used?I don't think many mutants that are below omega can even come up with anything that could even become close to a challenge for Superman.
I believe that we should be able to use Omega level mutants.
Because I know one that could easily defeat Supes.
Vulcan,he was confirmed by Prof. X,Emma Frost,and Rachel Summers that he was a above Omega level mutant.
What he would do is,first he would diminish the all the power from the sun,next,he would manipulate the energy in Supes brain and copy his exact powers,except he wouldn't need to rely on the sun,then after fighting evenly for a while,Supes would run out of solar power,then Vulcan would either kill him with brute force,or instead of wasting time fighting evenly, he would tap into Supes powers and supress them and easily kill him.
But,if you want no Omega-level, and only below level 3,then I suggest Pete Wisdom,first he would absorb all the solar energy out of Superman, then he would absorb all the energy of the sun so Superman cannot regenerate power,then he would shoot his hot knives at Supes and kill him instantly.
Also,you could pit Sunfire against Superman,but he would do the same thing as Pete Wisdom,except instead of hot knives,it would be plasma.

Vulcan couldn't even take Gladiator. How would he manage Superman?

Vulcan would get blowup by Kal.
There isn't many mutants as versitile and Sups.
