They should make a storyline where he's far outlived all of humanity and's now a cosmic being. He'll be just like Galactus, minus the jobbing (hopefully).

Yeah, after all I've heard of Immortal, it sounds like they're writing him off to be the next Galactus like Nova was in that one shot comic.

wouldn't he only become a galactus-type character if he was the sole survivor of this universe [his destiny] and he emerges after the crunch and the next big bang into the newly-formed universe as such? you know, a series of events that will never happen in marvel continuity unless they decide to retcon all of their history in a crisis-like move to start fresh.

he's just gonna be mr. immortal for the rest of marvel history, with the exception of possible mini-series or one shots dealing with divergent timelines.

also, note that he didn't appear to have a hangover despite the alcohol-related death he came back from. that takes skill.
