Should Yoshi have another game of his own?

Castle battles got old in the other games.

Also if there are castle bosses, it usually sets up that Bowser would be a boss, since all traditional platform Mario games have bowser fought in a castle, bar Super Mario Galaxy.

And there is only so much a castle can offer.

For this game to be unique, the boss battles need to take place on open fields.

The open fields could be like a mini-mission before you get to the boss.

Either way, Yoshi or whoever would be able to move feely during the battle.

Yeah in a castle you have just a floor sometimes filled with water or lava, a celling and walls.

With a free boss environment, you could have various things, like if in a forest area, there could be different tree trunks that you have to jump on with a few enemies on them, then you get to a big tree for the boss battle, where the boss could be a piranha plant, that uses the giant tree to hit so it obtains coconuts to throw at Yoshi ect.

That would be cool.

Endless possibility's, for a blooper boss it could be a few sunken doom ships, that fire bullet bills, bomb-ombs and cannon balls, the blooper throws wreckage at each ship to hit Yoshi/or sink the ship then once you get to the main ring made up of ships the fight begins, after being hit the blooper can break of two pieces of the ring, and some cannons can fire at Yoshi, then the fight continues.

Anyway, the boss areas depend on the bosses.

Piranha plant would be in a garden like area, full of vegetation, and water.

There doesn't have to be any water.

I was using it as an example, that would be a forest Zone.

"Forest Zone" sounds like a stage from a Sonic game.

Anyway, there should be a boss battle that takes place underwater.
